I too strongly think that he likes SAkura, but he likes his family more than anyone! He wasn't thinking straight when he tried to kill SAkura! There was only "MURDER" on his mind! But I do agree that he was quite shocked to see SAkura of all people when he was trying to kill Karin! He knew Sakura came to kill him and he showed her how naive she was to actually think that she was actually capable of killing someone! IN short he sees Sakura as an innocent naive girl who should stay far away from trouble!

Yeah, he said thank you - one time in a whole serie and probably because she was back then a fairly good teammate of him. During the Forest of the death, he was suffering from the Curse mark and seeing one of his teammates hurt, spurred him on to attack the culprits. Naruto would have called up the same reaction as Sakura back then.

And actually he did reprimand her for acting so bitchy to Naruto in the beginning of their team formation.

And euh, a little hint: Sakura and Kakashi were attacked both by Sasuke immediately. They can't talk to him for that long.
Who does he listen to and who actually surprises him by still willing to be his friend? Naruto. Not Sakura. She actually gave up on him, while Naruto is still fighting for him.
Yeah, think again. Sasuke really doesn't care about Sakura anymore. All care he had for her, left the moment he started studying with Orochimaru.

He shows more respect to Naruto now (even admitted he's his best friend), he was the one he came to embrace when they met again at the hideout, not Sakura. He didn't even spare that much attention to her anymore after Naruto arrived at the stage.
Sorry, but their bond is as good as dead now.

Vaste Lorde: Sasuke doesn't care about showing he is Akatsuki material. The only reason he went along with Tobi was because he could benefit from it. If he didn't gain anything in exchange, he wouldn't have agreed to help Tobi. And like I said above: Naruto at this moment is the only one who can say to him what he wants without getting attacked for it immediatley. Sakura was nearly killed by him if not for Naruto intervening. I'm sorry but the bond between Sasuke and Sakura is dead now. The only way they could ever get along with each other again is as teammates because Sakura doesn't fit the type of partner Sasuke wants.

I said that if Naruto had been attacked, he probably would have received the same reaction of Sasuke as Sakura had.
And I think Naruto is giving up on his crush on Sakura. He realizes she's hung up on Sasuke and her fake confession didn't help her.
If she ever agreed to go out with him, he probably would be wondering the entire time if he was second choice just because she couldn't have Sasuke.
And remember, Sasuke even threw himself in front of Naruto to defend him against Haku, so his reaction to Sakura in the Forest of the Death wasn't that surprising

I'm sorry to say this, but that is a rather naive view of their 'relationship'.
Sasuke doesn't give a crap about Sakura anymore. If he did, he wouldn't have tried to kill her.
Sasuke wasn't completely blind; he knew very well that it was Sakura trying to attack him, and he made use of that fact to attack her back.
He doesn't love her at all. He broke off any bond he had with her when he left the village. He doesn't care for her anymore!
What on earth does Sasuke have to do to show he really isn't interested in Sakura? Kill her for real? Because if he gets the chance and she attacks him again, you can be sure he'll go in for the killing.
Even during Team Seven, he had more respect for Naruto than for Sakura and that was saying something. Yes, he respected her during that period, but all that respect is now gone.

So sorry, but Sasuke isn't interested in her at all.

Well normally i would agree with this but with the way sasuke was shown acting as if he was regretting what he has done, questioning himself and who he is. I believe that their is always a possibility in the future for him and sakura, also i would rather see sasuke ( As a huge sasuke fan)with sakura then karin; like karin is cool and all but sakura would eat her anyday.

That's indeed why he went to Orochimaru. From what I have witnessed, he actually managed to cut the ties between him and Sakura because he wasn't that close to her. He considered her a good teammate, but nothing more.
Naruto however was his rival and his best friend and he realizes that whatever he does, Naruto is still there for him and isn't willing to give up on him, unlike Sakura.
I think Sasuke is unwilling to completely cut his ties with Naruto, because he's afraid of losing the only person who is still there for him. He lost his clan and his brother; all he has left now is his best friend.
If he really wanted to cut ties, he would have killed Naruto, for which he got enough chances.

Now, my reasons for why Sasuke and Sakura don't fit. Mind you, that is how I see it of course.

Sakura was/is crushing on him because he is handsome, strong and smart. In short, she had created a perfect image of him, a sort Prince Charming.

Sasuke however, doesn't have a need for someone who puts him on a pedestral. He needs someone who can challenge him, who isn't afraid to but heads with him and dares to defy him.

Sakura wouldn't be able to give him that challenge. While she isn't that silly, weak girl anymore and has gotten a big mouth, she wouldn't dare to defy Sasuke too much and would try to do anything that would please him, turning into a quiet, sweet housewife (closest I could come to a decent description sorry) if that is what she thought he would need and want.
She would be able to match him on the intelligence part, but in my opinion Sasuke is attracted to power and challenges. This is probably part of the reason why he went to Orochimaru and later helped Tobi: they gave him power and challenges.

That is also probably why Sasuke has never made a real effort to kill Naruto, despite the chances he got. If he killed him, who would be able to give him a decent challenge then? Who would be willing to defy him stubbornly, if only for the sake of not wanting to give up?
Sasuke realizes that Naruto is powerful and that's why he's unwilling still to completely cut ties with him.

While Sakura isn't weak, she isn't up to providing a decent challenge for Sasuke, not like Naruto could.

Plus Naruto is one of the few who can ever say he completely understands Sasuke's feelings, while Sakura can't. She can try to imagine how he must feel, but she won't ever be able to completely understand him, because she didn't experience the same thing that Sasuke has. Naruto can understand Sasuke in that aspect.

I tried to explain it as well as I could Again, this is just my observation of them. And sorry for the length I can't seem to write small observations
