Tobi cannot be Obito. Jiraya trained Nagato, Yahiko and konan. After this Jiraya trained Minato and then Minato trained kakashi,rin and obito.

Tobi says he is one who gave Nagato the rennigan. Looking at the timeline; Obito would be a mere infant when Jiraya was training Nagato or he may not be even born at the time. If Obito comes out to be tobi it will be biggest blunder of the manga as long as there is some hax jutsu that allows time travel..

Any way it is difficult to pull off something like Tobi = Obito if both statements are assumed to be true. And anyways there is no reason why Obito must hate kakashi and try to destroy the entire world.. that's just not kishi. I want to see Tobi's face and not sasu and Oro next chapter... please kishi don't troll us.

AMAZING CHAPTER!!! Naruto is so broken with Bijuu Mode.... As much as i hate to say this but Tobi is looking more and more like Obito, especially when he said that borrowed power you cannot fully use. PLUS THEY HAVE THE SAME MANGEKYO!! But I'm sure Kishi is trolling us! If Tobi really was Obito i wouldn't hate the idea. It better not be Madara brother that would just be fckin stupid.

Yea I do not think we will find out who Tobi is for a few more chapters maybe several. I think it will jump to the Madara Kage fight and then back to Sasuke and Oro so we could very well have to wait 10 chapters to find out who Tobi really is.

Great chapter! I must say it feels like Tobi is without a doubt going to be Obito at this point. Some people might have said it's rediculous idea but it just makes too much sense, and honestly you had to have had that same thought in your head. If he is in fact Obito I can't wait to see how he actually survived the rockslide I dont see how it could have been with Kamui when he had just awakened his sharingan.

I have fallen into the Tobi is Obito group. My guess is Madara found him crushed under the rock and replaced part of him with Zetsu parts which would explain the senju DNA. As for Nagoto getting his eyes from Tobi. Tobi is a liar, Madara probably gave Nagato the eyes then told Tobi about it. Tobi was trained by Madara and altered by the Zetsu parts which would explain why he was taller when he faced Minato.

If Tobi is Obito it would be a great set up for a death of Kakashi. And it would fit with the theme of the series dealing with the villians which are in general people who were messed up as kids. It also makes the fight so much more personal.
