Plot hole, obito's eye should be useless for tobi by now

I hate plot holes so I have to point them out... Itachi's ms was rarely ever used, or so we can assume from the anime because it was dangerous for him. By the time he fought sasuke his eyesight was so bad he could barely see anything.

Take Obito's ms, tobi has been using it AT LEAST since naruto was born, more than likely since obito was killed. Now let's also assume that whenever he's been attacked and lets them pass through him, whenever he's used the other dimension (which is almost constantly in the manga) he needs to activate his ms. How the hell has that eye not gone completely blind?

I'm sure the answer is plot no jutsu but that crap annoys the hell out of me

Perhaps Tobi has EMS and we don't know about it. Or, Tobi does have a large collection of sharingan from the massacre. Perhaps he's able to transfer the vitality of one to the other?

Yah Senju DNA is the only logical explanation for why Tobi's MS hasn't lost its light in 17 years. It's probably the only other solution for maintaining the light of MS without EMS

He has only had ms for a few years and from the manga we can see that not only does he barely use it but in the last fight between team 7 and itachi, kakashi makes a comment to itachi about losing his sight

its easy: tobi is already blind. he uses his ms eye to spam s/t
and he uses his rinnegan to see. he only uses rinnegan to look cool while seeing, not to use techs.
