Water first please. :D

Alright, so I believe you've had no prior training with water, so...

First off, what do you think of the Water element, and explain a few aspects of it to me, both as a real world substance and in relation to the other elements in the Naruto universe.

Please don't use a wiki; just tell me what you know.

Sorry for the late reply, i just need to go to the shop and purchase something.

Water element is 1 of the elements in the 5 different elements there is. Earth, fire, lightning, wind and water. It is strong against fire element and weak against wind element.
In real world, water is a substance, a liquid people drink to keep themselves from dehydrating. It has many other uses, for example; extinguishing fire or bathing in.
:)

You missed a few points; water is weak to Earth, not Wind. This is because Earth jutsu are very sturdy in structure and composition, and thus are not easily moved by waters.

However, Wind and Water do often pair well together; so well, in fact, that that a wind-water combo will overpower even a Fire-wind combo.(Neutral+Neutral > Strong+Weak)

*Forms a pit and fills it with water, using a combination of Doton and Suiton.*

Anyway, I want you first to get into the water and focus on its properties; tell me some attributes of it that could be useful for transforming your chakra into a Suiton nature.

Water is also a Yin element.

Attributes are the characteristics of something.

And yes; tell me aspects (details) of the water that could be useful for transforming your chakra into its reflective nature.

*I walk over to the pit of water and get inside. I sit down and fold my legs and arms and close my eyes, trying to focus*

*I feel the cool calm water touching me.*

Water is the element of emotion. It reminds me of a lullaby, slowly releasing my emotions. It is an element of dreams. Water changes the way it flows just like the way people change there emotions. It reflects ones inner feelings. It is very pure, and therefore represents truth. It is also something of healing. It is used to heal.

Cool, and flowing.

Very nice, you were spot on.

*Hands you the chakra paper.*

Now run your chakra through this, while trying to make it take on those properties of water; if done correctly, the paper will become damp.

I have a question.

For every element you teach me, will you/other sensei's be asking me what are the properties and aspects of the element?

Very nice.

So, with this, we begin your Suiton training.

(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

The principle Suiton technique, that is the most basic aspect of water manipulation.

As far as battle use, I can't give you much advice, as it all depends on your ingenuity if this is useful to you or not.

For our purposes, I'm going to want you to create a blast of water. So, what you'll do is focus your Suiton chakra into a large mass in your hand, and then propel it forward; if done successfully, it will launch a ball of water forward.

@Your question: Yes.

*I start to focus my chakra into my hand whilst thinking about water properties. I then converting it to Suiton chakra. After this i move my hand and release the chakra and by using shape manipulation, the water takes the form of a water ball.*

Is that alright? :shy:

Eh...I would have preferred a bit more detail, but since this is the first jutsu, I'll let it slide.

(I like stuff like this.)
*Beginning by focusing my chakra into my hand, I manipulate my chakra to take on the aspects of water, creating Suiton chakra in its place. Then, by gathering more chakra into my hand, I condense it into a sphere which I then propel forward with a burst of chakra from my palm, launching the sphere of water forward.

Anyway, next is:

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu

Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

Not known to require handseals, and a good counter to Doujutsu, this is a much loved technique.

It's quite simple in execution, as well; by focusing your Suiton chakra into the air, and converting it into water molecules, you'll create a thin mist. The more chakra you expel, the thicker the mist; conversely, you can infuse a water source with your chakra and simply disperse the water into the air.

Give it a shot.

ok sensei, i'll make this detailed.

*I begin to concentrating on my suiton chakra. Differently from last time, I take a deep breathe, and while doing this, I gather my suiton chakra in my lungs and mix it up with the air molecules. I then release my chakra through my breath at a slow pace. When my breath makes contact with the air, the air my breath touched instantly turns into mist. The mist continues to gradually grow until i have run out of air to breathe out and the air turns to mist.

Detailed enough or should i try again sensei?

That was good.

*Uses a Wind jutsu to blow away the mist.*

Next is:

(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.

A useful technique if you're a Kenjutsu practitioner and find yourself without a sword.

Using your chakra, you'll simply pull the water in the air towards your hand, using your chakra to guide it's shape; you'll condense the water, and using shape manipulation, give it the form of a blade of your choosing. The chakra itself will prevent the water from simply falling to the ground.

Give it a shot.

I create suiton chakra in both of my hands. I then imagine how an average sword would look like. As i keep the image in my mind, I use my suiton chakra to create water in my palms and by condensing it, I shape the water in my palms into a sword-like shape. When i complete this, I grab my both of my sword with my hands. I realize that both of my sword are starting to disfigure, so i start to and continue to release a small amount of suiton chakra to keep it in shape.

How about that sensei?

That's excellent. ^_^

Now, we move on to C-rank jutsu. The first being:

(Suiton: Suikōtoppa) – Water Release: Water Shark Breakthrough

Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: short
Chakra cost 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will create a water shark to jump into the air and bolt towards the opponent, striking them.
Note: Requires a water source.

The usefulness of this jutsu is...debatable. While requiring no handseals, it's only effective if you and your opponent are within short range of a Water Source. And even then, unless it comes from behind your opponent, it is very easily blocked or avoided; indeed, if someone uses this against you, you can likely defend against it with an explosive note, instead of wasting a jutsu.

It's a bit more complex than the other techniques we've preformed in the way of shape manipulation.

By focusing your chakra into a source of water, you'll infuse the water with chakra and then create a shark-like shape with your manipulation ability. Then, as the shape is forming, you'll propel the chakra upwards, out of the water and towards the opponent, which will also cause the shark itself to leap out of the water, and towards your opponent; the nature of the shark - being held together with chakra - will allow it to do blunt damage instead of just dispersing into water upon contact.

*Creates an earthen pillar.*

Give it a shot.

Thanks.

I'll use the pit you made earlier.

I start to create my suiton chakra. Then i focus my suiton chakra and channel it into the water in the pit. I then Imagine the basic structure of a shark. As i keep the image in mind, i manipulate the suiton chakra inside the water and create the sharks head. After i create the head using shape manipulation, i focus on how the body and the tail looks like, i mold the water and create the shape of its body and tail. As i am doing this, i condense the water to give it a strong shape. I then rise the shark over the pit and by focusing my suiton chakra in the shark, i lift it and make it fly towards your earthen pillar, smashing it.
