-Earth is one of the basic five elements used in naruto..it can be used in various ways to defend the user.It can also be used to attack and in some cases be used to create weapons. Another use of the earth element I've seen is making things lighter in mass or many times heavier.

- Earth is weak against the lightning element due to the lightning being able to surge through it.
- Strong against water.

Couple of Doton users: Muu, Hiruzen, and onoki.

Couple of Doton jutsu: earth release rock golem,,earth release earth wall,, earth release mud bullet..

Anyways, come over he and sit on the ground. Begin to meditate on the earth and think on all of the characteristics of earth (Basically everything you just told me) use chakra in your meditation if necessary.

-i sit down on a nearby boulder as I start to meditate focusing on the properties and characteristics of the earth around me.I start to think about the hardness and amount of earth surrounding the area I sat in. Running through my mind were ideas of different ways I could make the earth protect me or just flat out crush my opponents.. I then focus my chakra around my body while staying completely still hoping to let it flow strong as the earth I sit on.

Continue to meditate for a little while longer, and then come back over to me so that we can discuss the various ways the earth element can be used in battle.

- I continue to meditate in the same manner as before keeping very still and quite as my teacher spoke. I let my earth chakra flow completely through my body for another hour or so before leaping off the boulder.
I then go stand next to jacob and awaits instructions.

So come here, and in a philosophical way, tell me what you think earth is in relation to us in real life. Just give me one or two sentences, and don't over think it. If you need help, feel free to ask for clarification.

It's more of a philosophical question, so it relates to us in real life and what you think of earth in real-Your own view on earth, not what earth is in relation to the naruto universe. Also when I say fill in the blank, it's only a single word.

Now start meditating, sit on the earth and reflect on everything we've talked about so far, as well as the characteristics of earth-It's texture, even the color, etc.

I walk to a nearby boulder, sits down on it and begin meditating. I would focus on becoming one with my earth chakra by imagining the feel, smell, and look of the earth around me. As I have my eyes closed meditating I inhale deeply. Once I inhale I can smell dust being swirled around in the air that gave off a bland essence. While I take in the smell I can also feel the earth below me that is sturdy, powerful and tough, which mirrors my personality. I'd then open my eyes only to see countless mountain formations that were several different shades of brown. To my right I can see earth formed in different ways making a giant canyon, and within the canyon are many boulders in all different shapes and sizes. After meditating for a while I begin to feel closer to my earth chakra but overall closer to life itself.

You're doing good. After your meditation, whenever you see fit to stop and begin the next task, come over and infuse your chakra into this rock (Baseball sized). Make sure ot remain calm and patient, and don't be to aggressive when channeling your chakra. If you do this incorrectly, then the rock will crumble away; If done properly, then the rock should become slowly become softer, until it takes on a consistency like that of clay.

After meditating for a week straight I get up to go take a long shower and eat. Afterwards I return to the training area where you pop up again. I would then pick up the round rock and hold it in my right palm. With the rock now sitting in my relaxed hand a gently flow my doton chakra into it while carefully molding its texture and getting a hands on feel of it. After channeling and molding my chakra into it for several moments I begin feeling it get softer thus my fingers start to sink into the doughy like properties of the hardened rock that once laid in my hand.

Good U_U Your ready for shape transformation. Now change that rock into an earth kunai using your chakra to shape it (You shouldn't need to actually shape it with your hands as molding instruments, your chakra should do it).

I listen to your instructions as I still hold the play dough type rock in my palm. I'd then insert a small amount of chakra into thus giving me the ability to mold it. Since the rock is no longer hardened I easily shape the rock into a normal sized, brown kunai. After shaping the dough into a kunai I manipulate it once again but this time I manipulate the texture again instead of the shape to make it hardened with a sharp tip. I'd then spin the earth made kunai around my right index finger before throwing it at a passing bird.
