I know right. Seriously people its not that difficult, but maybe you need to revisit Kabuto's flashbacks. He never had an identity, the only thing that ever tied him to and identity was the glasses. He doesn't need them but wears them as a keepsake. He is holding onto the memory of his 'mother', despite the fact that he killed her.

Wonder if he added some weird expiremental drug to it? That gave him a god awful rash that resembled snake skin. And that's why he decided to do research to be a sage XD cause he couldnt get the rash to go away and wanted the rest of his body to match.
