Well anyone that was hit by that arrow died so far even Kakashi said if he didn't make it disappear with kamui he would've died and he can use Amaterasu on it so even tho he survived the Amaterasu will burn him

Sasuke has a small chance of defeating pain just like Sage mode Naruto did...it all depends on luck...you underestimate Pain...I am a huge Sasuke and Pain fanboy so I can think about both sides...Pain has alot of advantages so I think it comes down to if the Susano'o can defeat Pain...which is quite possible since it seem the Susano'o is almost invincible. Genjutsu would be irrelevent because they aren't linked like that...in the battle with Sage mode Naruto he defeats one when Ma and Pa use genjutsu but that only trapped one of them not all of them and Kirin would be completely useless...Shinra tensai can withstand it for sure the only reason the clones withstood it is because of the fact that Pain was at his limit. Amaterasu can be effective if used correctly but I still think he would have to take out the Pain who absorbs Ninjutsu. It doesn't matter that he can cast it wherever he wants. That Pain doesn't even need hand seals for that. But I do believe that if Sasuke would be tactical and quick he can defeat Pain
...No matter what it would be a close fight...at least we can all agree on that.:scorps:

This whole thread is false!!! Im NOT a sasuke hater.I actually really like the character,but this doesnt change the truth,Sasuke will lose no doubt. Many things you said are completely false,for example theres no susano genjutsu(its just a regular genjutsu),amaterasu can be absorbed because its a ninjutsu.Pain can probably absorb susano as well,and dont forget the shinra tensei pain can fly as well AS REVIVE THE OTHER PAINS!!! If one pain is under a genjutsu the others will not be in it too,this was proven during pains battle with jiraiya.And if sasuke is in susano,shinra tensei pain can just pull(his ability) sasuke out of it.Im sure sasuke will put up a good fight,but he will ultimately be defeated!

2.sasuke does have tsukoyomi because in order to awaken the susano'O u have to awaken both Amaterasu and tsukoyomi
3.ok then he can beat that guy with kenjutsu (swords)

amaterasu is no a ninjutsu. Second, i know this is speculation but he wasn't talking about regular genjutsu. he said "VISUAL" genjutsu, as in, if one sees it, they all see it and NO! pain does not suck in Susanoo . I am not a pain fanboy nor am i a sasuke fanboy. honestly i hated sasuke witha ll my guts until the really recent chapters, w'll see, but i'm always trying to be objective in vs matchups

visual Genjutsu like Tsukoyomi

6POP win this, even if Sasuke has Amaterasu, its not problem for Deva path, Sasuke DOES NOT have Tsukoyomi, if he had one he would've already used it atleast once till now. Susano'o can be handled easily by Chibaku Tensei. And if somehow Deva path manages to pull Sasuke out of his Susano'o, its game over.
