Just How Powerful is Hashirama?

There's been a lot of talk about Hashirama's powers and abilities and how Hashirama>Madara and vice-versa, but IMO, the manga/anime itself has been giving mixed signals regarding Hashirama's true potential.

Let's look at this objectively...

-Some evidence showing that Hashirama kicks ass:
1) Edo Madara himself claimed only Hashirama could take him down (Then again, there are arguments that a character's opinion doesn't reflect reality, so take this with a pinch of salt).
2) In Naruto UNSG, cut scenes reveal how Hashirama single-handedly tanked Madara AND Kyuubi with wood style jutsu.
3) Yamato, already a very proficient wood style user, admits that Hashirama was a lot better than him at using wood style jutsu.

-Some evidence showing that Hashirama isn't as powerful as we think:
1) In Part I, Hiruzen managed to defeat BOTH Hashirama and Tobirama on his own; Hashirama's wood style jutsu also didn't seem all that formidable when pitted against Hiruzen's summon (Enma).

PS: This is not a thread about Hashirama vs Madara; it is simply a thread for NBers to objectively assess Hashirama's abilities with what we know/infer from the series.

Orochimnaru summoned Hashirama using Edo Tensei, Hashirama was under complete control of Orochimaru...

Orochimaru lost that fight, not Hashirama...

Kishimoto just trolled Hashirama back then because in part 1, the hype belonged to Hiruzen while it changed in part 2. You can say what you want, but a 70 year old Hiruzen would never beat Hashirama and Tobirama together in their best state and while being an Edo.

He sure as hell isn't in the SO6P League, Nor is he the 1st/2nd or 3rd strongest shinobi to have ever lived.

Hashirama is the most overrated person on the base, his fanbase is just stupid.

Well he has a healing technique comparable to Tsunade's byakugou, and seeing as the Senju were given high levels of physical energy and lifeforce, his physical strength would be around Tsunade's level too. Furthermore, he was the leader of the Senju, the clan of 1000 techniques, meaning his skill in all of the ninja arts would be very high.

Also, that fight in part one was not representative of his power as he was being completely controlled by Oro, and Enma is nothing to sneeze at.

its hard to grasp his strength because the only instance weve seen him he was limited by part 1 power scaling and an imperfect edo tensei

but i think the one thing that attests to his strength though is that he went toe to toe with ems madara and kurama and came out on top, although it seems madara had ulterior motives per whats been reveled recently in the manga, its still no small feat to achieve by your own power , imo when hes revealed through some madara flash back he will surprise/impress us all

To the people who are going to join this thread and say Edo Madara>Hashirama

Lets summon Hashirama using Edo Tensei and give him full control over himself then re-consider that notion...

You can't compare Edo Tensei Madara and Hashirama... Since Edo Madara is nothing but Kabuto's tool gone astray...

Also Did Edo Madara not say Hashirama was the only one that can stop him?

Why would his strength be around tsunades level?.

Nothing has ever been said about hashirama being anything special strength wise.
