The 3rd Raikage's one-finger attack is said to break through any defense... HOW THE HECK SHOULD WE TAKE IT????

Jigokuzuki would crush Yata mirror, after all it is Third Raikage's strongest jutsu.

Four-Finger Nukite (四本貫手, Yonhon Nukite): Strong enough to break through robust defences with relative ease.

Three-Finger Nukite (三本貫手, Sanbon Nukite): Effective against even malleable materials that can usually handle a blow by dissipating its force.

One-Finger Nukite (一本貫手, Ippon Nukite): Known as the "strongest spear" (最強の矛, saikyō no hoko), where the concentration of chakra is so great that it extends well beyond the finger in a lone point. It was capable of cutting off all the tails of the Eight-Tails and piercing even the Third's Lightning Release Armour and own body, which due to its ability to withstand any technique was regarded as the "strongest shield" (最強の盾, saikyō no tate).

Gaara's sand was consider to be the 'Ultimate defense', but is it really that great? Same with Yata mirror, but things like Jigokuzuki, Chibaku Tensei, etc would destroy Yata mirror.

I for one, am unmoved by this line of reasoning. Let us recall Tayuya's jutsu. We know that Tayuya uses a jutsu that materializes a spiritual being (Sound like Yata Mirror?). This being is made of spiritual energy only (Sound like Yata Mirror?) and feeds on life force in order to operate (Sound like Yata Mirror?). Now, let's see how the author describes this entity in the databook;

Tayuya manipulates three Angry Demons with the sound of her flute. Her releasing of the materialized spirits - which is to say the special chakra sealed inside of those Demons.

I don't give a crap, Itachi is dead and the yata mirror is gone with him, no one else will get it and even if they do it will still prove to have weaknesses, if not a huge chakra drain then a very simple weakness like being attacked from behind, after all it is a shield and you can't defend your back when your holding a shield in front of you.

Nice thread either way, however, sometimes you just can't apply logic to Naruto. Lemme give you an example; Nagato vs Hashirama. Now based on an awesome thing called "hype" Hashirama shits on him, but we know that Nagato can absorb his Mokuton, obviously Kishi knows for a fact, and we should too, that Hashirama > Nagato. If we start using logic it starts to bend towards Nagato. Anyways, I'm sure you get my point by now. Don't try and twist Kishi's words either, not helping.

Last I checked, Nagato cant absorb TREES....:flaw:

He can absorb the chakra in the trees, stopping their movement, but only after it makes contact with his body. He would take damage during the process of absorbing the chakra.

Well that goes to show you that you can't apply real-world logic to Naruto. Something "without physical form" shouldn't be able to deflect any solid object, since you need force to canel out force, and a stationary object can only cancel out the force of a moving object if it has enough density, but without any physical matter, the yata mirror, by logic, shouldn't be able to deflect sasuke's sword since it doesn't have any phyiscal matter to maniuplate in order to cancel out the force of the blade. You can't have force without matter, and you can't have matter without force, so the yata mirror shouldn't even be able to deflect physical things BY IT'S OWN DEFINITION. But as you pointed out, it can.

I think this all boils down to Naruto is a fictional manga, and some things just aren't going to make sense with the real world :shrug:
