I don't know who first said being gay was part of evolution but I might as well put in my 2 cents about the situation.

I think the person was trying to imply that being gay isn't a choice due to logic and etc. because a majority of animals throughout the world also engage in *** between two animals of the same gender (gay animals).

Personally, I don't think being gay is part of evolution, that's just silly.

Maybe I have worded it wrong, people/animals have a certain sexual orientation as a part of evolution.
Some species are even purely homosexual

Actually I wouldn't mind that at all. Why would gay parents be worse than straight parents? If you say that it's because children can get bullied because of their gay parents, then it's because other people are immature, ignorant and can't stand it when other people aren't the same as them.
But no, I wouldn't mind having two mothers or two fathers.

However in a world where everyone is different, can you guarantee that every child in a homo family would like it?

The problem is more due to acceptance, a child raised in a same-*** couple will be treated differently to ones in a heterosexual couple, that is why attitudes need to change.

I think they would prefer being adopted by gay parents than left in an orphanage.
If they would start to feel ashamed about it, it's because other people would tell them it was wrong to be gay. But if the gay parents love their child and care for it, then why wouldn't the child like them back? Children need care and love and gay couples can give that as easily as straight couples can.
