If you re-read the first link, tobi says "Using its power, I will magnify the powers og my eyes to the ultimate level" = he must have ms... the juubi is only increasing the power of his dojutsu, not giving him a new one

It could be a mistranlation or kishi was implying that a shairngan can evolve if he gets more power.... like kakashi we dont know where he got MS... so tobi could get the MS by Juubi ....

What hes hinting at is projecting his reality into the moon, so everyone sees what hes sees.

TBH, i don't see why Tobi hasn't got MS already. I mean, gaining MS is rare and is only given to talented shinobi who have felt some sort of grief or pain. Tobi qualify's with ease, so why the f*k doesn't he have MS!!

Well he could have the MS and kishi is just troling with are minds xd

Yeah all his action's require MS, but their's no solid proof as of now that he has MS. Or at least a scan showing him with MS.

I may have been exaggerating a little they have small similarities, but infinite is diffrent. It's like comparing a normal katon to amaterasu. The scale is diffrent and so are the conditions which have to be met. Also Infinite Tsukuyomi does not require MS from whats shown so far.

I believe that the juubi is the only thing that makes his dojutus powerful enough to do so, not that it gives him new powers like the one you get by unlocking a new sharingan, but simply a huge boost in the power of the dojutsu

When we first see kakashi using his ms, he has to store chakra in his eye to activate the ms, so I agree that a chakra powerboost could envolve tobis sharingan into a more powerful sharingan, I just don't think that is the reason why he needs to be the jinchuriki to be able to use infinite tsukuyomi...

I think you need the juubis power to be able to reflect your genjutsu on the moon, and that he is using a ordinary tsukuyomi made stronger by the juubi.. when you are using the moon as a mirror you are able to hit every single human in one strike

In the scenario you posted yes you are correct, but the same can also be said for a simple Katon technique and Amaterasu. They may have similar properties but are still different techniques. If Tobi had MS already he would have shown it, if the Infinite Tsukuyomi needed MS i'm sure Tobi would have already specified the conditions. The name sake alone is not a strong enough argument to prove MS is needed for Infinite Tsukuyomi.

katon is fire jutsu amatersau is the ultimate fire jutsu the black flames there is a big difference there .... in name and in jutsu ...properties
Tobi already said he whant to get more power to strengh his eyes.... ( this could mean more power or evolve his sharingan and powers to a level far beyond sharingan capability )

its possible ... but then why he dint do that with nagato rinnegan he could just take the power ...:shrug:

It might only work on Sharingan, not other Dojutsu.

That's why he saved his special Sharingan and replaced only the other one
