kisame and itachi controled a fodder ninja not a zetsu and evryone now knows zetsu. so wats the point of sayin that he wont rem him. it doesnt matter since evryone knows zetsu

Or he could have just talked to Zetsu or Kisame. There's been numerous times when Guy has not recognized the shark man and plenty of time to relay that back to Tobi in one way or another. I just really don't like the Zetsu clone theory.

This is true, but why would he relate a meaningless thing like that, instead of maybe how Guy fights? (I'm sure he did that also) & I respect your opinion sir.

Personally, I think that was Tobi basically taking the piss out of Guy's memory. Also its not surprising if Zetsu was the one who told Tobi since its always been like that from the start. Zetsu observing important events and recalling everything to Tobi afterwards.

Zetsu's job is not to spy on Kakashi. Maybe he would know about Guy's memory from Kisame but knowing about Kakashi's life is a bit fishy. There would be no need for this until maybe recent times. I think it has something to do with Kakashi, lets not forget, Kishi wanted to go through Kakashi's past, and the climax would be a pointless place to do this unless he was somehow involved in the climax. I don't think it is Obito as there are too many plot holes, but it could be someone Kakashi and Guy have met before, I mean this would give Kishi one of those beloved flashback opportunities of his.

They both went on missions together so they could both know him but they may not actually know him, just may have met him before on a mission, it may not even be someone from Konoha and could be someone completely new (triggers flashback xd). I may be completely wrong though. There is no way of knowing though, all we can do is rule out a few people like Obito and wait for him to reveal it.

What Tobi said back to Kakashi and Guy really caught me off guard. Especially what he said to Guy, about the faces. Does anyone recall who said a very similar thing? Kisame.

- I'm not saying Kisame is Tobi, what I am trying to say is that imo this adds more validity to him being a Zetsu clone. We know the first time Kisame fought Guy, it was a clone. I could be right or wrong about this, but wasn't it a zetsu clone that Kisame was controlling? Or was it the Rinnegan's jutsu? I think if that was a zetsu clone being controlled, there must be a mental link between the clone for my theory to be true.

- Either way, Zetsu was always lurking around, so he could have seen or known about Kisame and Guy's little conversations. He popped up at the 5 kage summit, did a switch with Kisame vs Bee, etc.

-I find the statements he made about Kakashi and Guy to be quite fishy, bottom line. I don't think Tobi is Obito, that's just silly. (A lot of people seem to think so, because of what he said to Kakashi)

To kill everything you just said.. It wasnt a zetsu clone they fought with 30% of their powers, it was a jutsu used by Pain/Nagato.

True enough, my bet would be someone Kakashi and Guy met for a quick second, or a Zetsu clone. If you put it the first way though, there's no way of guessing who Tobi is. :shrug:

That clone wasn't a Zetsu clone. It was Pain's Shapeshifting technique. Anyway, there's definitely something fishy about Tobi's apparent familiarity with Kakashi and Guy's quirks. Kisame must have given Tobi some info on Guy. I think Deidera also shared some info with Nagato about Naruto's personality. So maybe sharing info amoungst each other was just something that Akatsuki did as a sort of protocol.
