The fact is Tobi never warped away any Elite opponent, instead he had trouble against fodders. This is enough to make me believe he's not capable to defend himself against Madara.

How does Madara counter Tobi's warping?
if madara used perfect susanno it owuld backfire on tobi the reason is the bigger the object the more mass tobi needs to collect so madara can just hit tobi with it or just use shinrai tensai to push tobi away because shinrai tensai is instant.
Madara has no feats in using Shinra Tensei. He died shortly after gaining the Rinnegan, so nothing suggests that he's even mastered it. And if you're using this logic, Tobi can cancel it out with his own Shinra Tensei.
And btw, Tobi can warp into Susanoo.
