Well, to be objective. He (yondaime) was the one who learned all the uzumaki seals, and sealing is practically the only way left to defeat madara, and he is crazy fast, this couples with that fact, that tsunade was able to just pretty much walk up (more like jump, but still, the point being nothing special there) and punch madara's susanoo....


I mean, i'm not saying... i'm just sayin.

Its a fair enough comparison to make, but i recon he is missing a few things that the SO6P still has over him, such as him total mastery over the tailed beasts. (Although Madara can manipulate the 9 tails, its no small feat but its not the same as the 10, or befriending all 9)

Still we have no idea how the SO6P got his rinnegan, or chakra, so you never know Madara might be more powerful, just with less competition.
