if u think tobi implanted the rinnegan on nagato, then you need to go to the other thread that says "Madara/Tobi never Implanted the Rinnegan".

Nagato is a descendant of the SO6p himself. His eyes weren't Implanted.
Tobi probably put those weak ninjas under a genjutsu, making them think nagato's mother and father were shinobi. When they killed both of nagatos parents, he released the genjutsu and left Nagato to deal them. He knew Nagato had the rinnegan. But nagato's rinnegan weren't activated, so tobi activated it for him.

Cmon, that first bit was just wishful thnking, the rinnegan is implanted as they needed a kid that can be easily manipulated with high chakra reserves.Nagato cannot change his eyes and his "awakening" the rinnegan was only portrayed like that like that for dramatic effect. I saw a thread on this months ago by TheEye, I think with a good theory, using buddihist mythology, which Kishi uses all the time and that suggests you must be near death to unlock it

Ok two things, In the anime slighlty before his mum and dad died you could slyly see his rinnegan. Why's that? the anime know when someone unlocks an eye and when they have an eye.

Second thing: in the manga why would kishi cover nagato's eyes from the start? why not show his normal eyes and then show him unlocking the rinnegan.

I always thought this until I heard tobi say he gave nagato the rinnegan it all made sense. And then when madara talks about nagato and then later we learned tobi and madara are partners and madara had the rinnegan it made even more sense!

Yes I re watched it to make sure after all these arguments. Tobi eye is implanted, damaged or just weird, one of the 3 why can he control the kyuubi that is a MS tech, why can he use space time that should be an MS tech, don't bring tobi's eye into this.
