Kisame can beat pretty much everyone.
Especially Nagato who lacks speed.
Speed would be Kisames biggest problem, but he can still handle it as he isn't slow.

Receiving praise for having a lot of chakra from an Uzumaki who are known to have a lot of chakra.
He has versatility even outside of water, using the ground (rock) like it's water.
Kisames famous ability to change the environment in a short 2 panels automatically gives him the upper edge on any fight.
Often over looked he has formidable reflexes.
His reflexes paired with being in water prove to be very fast. As he escaped an explosion by going under water very quickly.
Here he shows how he can handle an average summon sized beast with EASE. Also showing his confidence in battling the size of the beast. Showing that he doesn't fret summons/size.
Again he shows reflexes, this greater than the previous. Very good reflexes as he noticed it 6 inches away from impact he dodges it.
For long range combat Kisame can use samehada as a homing attack to keep the battle at range for w.e purpose.
Without touching the chakra powered object he can suck chakra out of it, meaning Raiton charged sword, kunai, raiton cloak(that A uses) etc.
With his sword he was able to maneuver at the last second to fling and drain Killer Bees chakra.
Kisame get's hit by hachibi in human form.
He heals himself with samehada and samehada comes back to him meaning healing himself is relatively easy.
Kisames dome jutsu completely traps the opponent. Although it could be countered by someone like Minato or Hashirama or S/T user like Tobi,
In the dome visibility is limited as Bee noted causing the opponent to be lossed leaving room for shark summons to attack. Could be countered by sensor.
Kisame can suck chakra out just by touching the source while he is fused with Samehada. Perfect for Mokuton or other chakra powered things.
To counter anything going on in the dome Kisame can feel the chakra of the opponent. Also an attack.
In that fight vs Hachibi/Bee Hachibi notes Kisame took all his chakra. Which is really remarkable since it's a Bijuu and they are nothing but large masses of chakra.
Kisames best summon is 1000 sharks. Self explanatory.
Kisames jutsu that neutralizes the opponents CHAKRA jutsu and gets stronger by absorbing their jutsus chakra.
I was bored and I thought it would be fun.
NOT A FANBOY. Kisame is just perfect for OP characters.
Samehada cutting through Itachis most powerful Katon Jutsu. Meaning Samehada can split jutsu.
