Here we can see Midst the fight between Madara + Kurama vs Hashirama. This is the scene in the manga shown.

Despite the fact that it's non canon, in The Hashirama vs Madara ova it shows right after this scene 100% Full Kurama uses a TBB on Hashi and he uses a wood style dome to protect and deflect it.

Look at 4:01-4:32



Earlier in the Manga despite the fact that it's on a smaller scale, Yamato is shown being able to protect himself against 4 Tailed Kurama's shockwave.

My question is, do you guys believe Mokuton can deflect a TBB?

personally no, but who knows, maybe wood style has some benefit against TBB or bijuu's period that kishi hasn't told us about yet.

Lmao, but as Rock Lee said about Gaar's sand "it may give in, but it does not break", the same could be said about hashi's wood style.

When he was inside the dome he was strengthening it with chakra, so that version is different then some dead would Enma can break.


Or Hashi probabaly got really lucky after praying to god haha xD

1. most likely- that wasnt cannon
2. The wood is flexible or something so it didn't break for enough time for hashirama to redirect it upwards or whatever.

What if the 9-tails chakra had an effect on the moukuton like making it turn into trees(life)?
Just like Naruto soon after he got the kurama's chakra.
This could have given him the upper hand in his battle vs Madara.

Can't say, but he must have survived kurama's tbb at some point during the battle, i seriously doubt madara would never use it.

Yeaaa, also that was Hashirama's Wood Dome, a bigger TBB probably would have penetrated it but if he tries to bounce the TBB of the Wood Dome like he did, I don't see what he shouldn't be able to deflect a TBB.
