When Tobi attacked the Leaf Village with Kurama, all elders were shown expect Danzo and Kagami.

Also, Kagami's teacher was said to be able to do Space-time technique, so Kagami learned it from him and ''perfected'' it.

And when Tobi attacked the Village, how did he go through the barrier without anyone noticing? He must be a former shinobi of the Village.

If I had to choose between Danzou Shimura & Kagami Uchiha of being Tobi, I'm going with Danzou. I know it's not actually written or shown in the manga but I believe Kagami was 1 of the many Uchiha who died on the night of the massacre.

The lastest chapter just added to the Danzou theory. We now know for sure why Danzou took Shisui's eye; Shisui was going to try to use KA to stop the Konohagakure Civil War from occuring. But if Danzou truly wanted peace why didn't he just let Shisui do his thing, because Danzou didn't "trust" him. In actuality Danzou wanted his eyes all along....

If tobi is Uchiha shisui, there is no need to gave his eyes away. Uchiha shisui looks similar age to itachi and would be too young to be tobi. plus, Tobi shown to have wrinkles on his face suggesting his old. So can't be uchiha shisui.

It is possible that danzo knows who tobi is. Danzo likely knows that itachi alone couldn't kill entire uchiha clan and requires help from someone. So Tobi even mentions how he met danzo at the uchiha massacre. So, danzo is one who really persuaded tobi to help and make itachi seek him. Knowing tobi's identity, tobi decided to take out danzo. So danzo probably knew who he was

What confuses me is the way Itachi talks to ~Tobi~. I may just be lost in translation but do you think Itachi really knew to whom he was talking to during the scene shown?

It might be just the author's intended blur that he didn't say right out "As you probably know I am Uchiha XYZ (...)" but instead "As you probably know I am an Uchiha (...)". And in "How did you know about me?" I can as well read that Itachi just knew about some mysterious guy lingering around and what not, but not in particular who.

I am not quite sure it really matters at all but I am curious to hear other's views.

It's quite amusing how you guys can just shun the possibility of Tobi actually being more than 1 person, I say Obito & Danzou because those were the first 2 people I came to realize could possibly be Tobi, then the thought of Tobi being more than 1 person came to me afterwards.

People say the Current Tobi is probably Obito but contridict themselves by saying "but he was too young to be the Tobi that fought Minato" this is true because around that time Obito would've been only 15-16.

Danzou fits the age, shape, abilities, injuries, & skill that were displayed against Minato. It's true a couple of his jutsu are questionable but he most definitely can still be Yellow Mask Tobi.

Obito's body was never found not even a piece of it, yet the Current Tobi has his other sharingan, which is why he can use Kamui. He fits the age, skills, & abilities displayed by the Current Tobi. He most definitely can still be Orange & White Mask Tobi.

Kakashi also miraculously awaken his MS while fighting Diedara, around the same time we saw Tobi use that teleport jutsu [Kumai]. The eyes are connected. Obito still had his eye aftef the boulder fell on him. Saying it was crushed without actually seeing it is complete & utter bullcrap....

Izuna was a lil younger than Madara, Hiruzen was like mid 50s during Tobi Vs Minato. Hiruzen was a kid when Hashirama trained him meaning Izuna would be like 90-100+ while fighting Minato. So those who believe Tobi is indeed Izuna, & there is only 1 Tobi, are basically saying Tobi is a 100+ years old shinobi. Both his eyes were taken by Madara. & his burial was shown. Not him.

I do see your points, but there is this I am wondering about (unrelated to Tobi = one or more as such). I understand this secret 'Uchiha chart' has different layers for different eyes, and there is this final message which can be only deciphered via Rinnegan.

Clearly I would expect from ~Tobi~ to have vast knowledge over all such secret information before he goes and tries to destroy everything or whatever. Do you see that implied combo like Obito & Danzou would meet such criteria and how? I am just wondering.

No he doesn't. Danzou has never controlled the kyuubi. You can simply see it from his dialogue. His skills do not even remotely fit either.

Obito's body has never been looked for because it's in another country. He's also just another shinobi that died young in the field. There was nothing else required of him.

Agreed. But you've already made stupid assumptions yourself and that assumption is a lot fairer in retrospect. Obito's story has something most other's don't; closure. The fact is his story has been told, completed and closed. Kishi is not as bad a writer as you're hoping to re-open a closed story and also reintroduce a character of so little relevance to anyone else. Kakashi and Tobi have encountered each other a couple of times now and it's clear that Tobi doesn't give a damn about him nor does Kakashi carry any real significance to him. That alone already shows us he's not someone he knows never mind the other evidence.

Suddenly you've become coherent and can only see the mistakes in the other theories yet you posted some pretty dumb things for the sake of Obito's favour, not being rude but it's true. You could do so much better for Obito but you're poor at presenting the argument. I don't mind that you think Tobi is Obito. Omoi, I know a lot of folks are saying Kagami died in the Uchiha massacre but is there proof in the manga? On subject, have you considered the reason Tobi wears a mask is not only to conceal his identity but so that he doesn't see another man's face staring back at him in a mirror? Also his capture of Danzo's lieutenants Torume and Fu. Tobi thought their abilities might be useful. Their abilities were the ability to infect and spread nanobugs like a virus and perform the mind body switch. Just food for thought.

Furthermore, the Anime Dept. creates the colors for those masks, for all we know, Kishi intended them to be all the same color (save the new one).
