i agree..seems things were happening to fast for kishi and he simply neglected the others that he had built so much characterization for. Also dumb why none died in the war, i woulda been sad, but you already forgot about them, why act like all other ninjas are nothing and die easily but these survive? also i know wiki is not always the best source but years ago i read on there that the bayakugan was was the strongest eye as it has advantages over the others, that was also the beginning on when i really started liking neji cuz he was already a bada$$ and i figured he would excel alot more. recently i looked over it again and it was edited.

Naruto didn't get "owned" if he won. If anything Naruto owned Neji. Plot smot , Naruto lost to Rock Lee... Where the plot at.. Naruto lost to Sasuke.. Where the plot at.. The plot didn't save Naruto from Neji. Neji had it coming as arrogant as he was talking about Fate, destiny , thinking he was better .

If anyone deserves more it's Rock Lee. He could never preform ninjutsu, so he worked extremely hard on Taijutsu and could amazingly unlock 5th gate atta young age. The only one who see's goodness in him is Gai. He was always second to Neji until the battle between him and gaara

They both do actually. However, the reason Neji lost was because of his arrogance at the last moment when he turned off his byakugan. It was plot to show that even a loser could defeat a genuis with hard work.

If Neji had won, then Naruto would have started doubting himself, cause even with Kurama's chakra, he lost, making him seem less significant in the shinobi world.

His potential was always limited. He wasn't a Uchiha or a jinchuriki just a Hyuuga with Byakugan.

There are a lot of Shinobi who don't have the Sharingan or are Jinchurikis but are still very good (Kakashi level) and Neji has the Byakugan so your statement is invalid

I will actually defend that statement, if you want. The greatest thing that kakashi has over Neji is experience. Everything else is pretty even.

Kishi simply didn't have enough time to focus on neji and the others that is the simple answer. He is focusing more on sage six paths, two sons, juubi and all that stuff. It's a real shame though kishi created all these awesome characters but now they mean nothing. The chunin exams is an example of how things would go if kishi was focusing on everyone.

This is why in my opinion Part 1 >>>>>>> Part 2 , I mean the fights back then where awesome and every character back then got their chance to develope , and even Part 1 in all made more sense and had less OP

I think his whole squad got trolled Lee is a pure badass with those gates I swear every fight you see him in is epic and Ten-Ten has to have developed some type of unique weapons combo it amazes me how kishi has some genius ideas but then has some not so good ones right along with them

yeah Lee was one of my favorite characters in Part 1 ....with all that "can't use ninjutsu , but can open the gates and has pure speed " That was pure Bada$$ ...can't say much about tenten though

I don't really feel like he trolled neji but the byakugan as a whole. It's supposed to be the THREE great dojutsu, but looking at them right now, it looks like the 2 massively overpowered dojutsu's and the crappy byakugan which doesnt hold a candle to the other 2. Kishi should give it a power boost, why not? Sharingan went through a few staged 2 tamoe, 3, MS, EMS. And now they say the rinnegan is what waits after MS.... Where is the byakugan in all of this? Oh yeah, trolled to hell. I really hope they give it SOME kind of power boost before the series ends, though i have a feeling that if they do, it will be given to hinata and not neji, just so they can further troll neji.

Also, if the Sharingan is an EVOLUTION of the rinnegan, then why the hell is it weaker?

I agree on the Byakugan part ....and I don't understand why would Kishi state in Part 1 that they Sharingan is an evolution of the Byakugan ...and then Troll the latter completely .., and OP the Sharingan so much ...Was Kishi high or something ??? >_>

Ive always said this but then again you can say the same about the others like, shino, lee, shikamaru, etc. What i hate the most is that neji was the most talented and arguable the strongest genin during the chunnin exam. He still holds more natural potential than sasuke and naruto.

What i find the most annoying is that in fact although sasuke, neji, gaara and naruto were the strongest during the exam if they were to beat people like shikamaru, lee and shino they would beat them with difficulty. Right now naruto would destroy all of them with ease. Ems sasuke would spam blaze release magatama and 1 shot them all. The gap between sasuke and naruto in relation to the others is too vast. Whilst those 2 are the main character's he has made them way too op and neglected the others. Even sakura who was in naruto and sasuke's team also got trolled.

Kishi spoilt his manga when he focused on the development of naruto and sasuke too much and neglected everybody else

This is exactly why I created this thread ...., I just felt so confused when I re-watched Part-1 last week , Why the hell would Kishi just make Naruto and Sasuke currently , Light-Years ahead of the other Konoha shinobis ...when they were on the same level firstly ....it made the manga lose it's flavour , you know what I mean ? ....and +rep

I swear, if Kishi ends this without showing any of the Konoha 11, the show will go down through my list of favorite mangas. When I mean down, I mean WAAAAAYY down. It's just bad overall character development to only focus on the main characters after so long. Yea they have improved tons and gained some new and hopelessly haxxed powers, but we are pretty tired of seeing them all the time.

While a few have had their shine such as Chouji, and even Tenten, the rest need some real screentime to at least show off more of their abilities and their potential. Kishi practically skipped most of their battles while showing glimpses of the Konoha 11 using one new or improved ability. Instead he is rushing through and favoring the three main battles that are supposedly going to determine the outcome of the war.

This again , was why I made this thread ..Kishi could've atleast made an Arc for team Guy or Neji or Lee or something as like what he did with team Asuma , while Ino and Choji was completely useless against Kakuzu and Hidan , atleast Team Guy's Neji and Lee would've been Better ( not saying I didn't enjoy the Team Asuma vs Kakuzu and Hidan Arc ) ...or atleast the anime team can invest some of the Trolled characters and try to make up something for them
