your first anime experience?

Hey guys.just want to know how yu came about watching anime or what inspired yu to start watching it.I mean to think if it wasn't for that reason yu probly would of never decided to watch anime from that time. My first anime experience was actualy watching the movie spirited away back when I had no idea what anime even was. I gues the way it was put together just got to me. So how did yu start?

ok it was 2007 i was in my house at nite bord as hell so i flipped through the channels & saw a dude with yellow hair & HE LOOKED ****ING EPIC HE HAD CLAWS RED STUFF AROUND HIM & HE HAD HIS DEAD FRIEND WHO LOOKED EPIC & HE SAID "IM GONING TO KILL U GRAAAA" haku vs naruto best anime experience ever

Dbz was my first anime experience but i didn't realise that it was anime at the time so i guess Naruto was my first anime i watched and i watched it on Jetix which was some time ago, i liked cartoons at the time so i thought lets give anime a chance and now i love it xD

:noc:That is awesome that everyones first was DBZ, as mine was DBZ too. I used to hate Japanese Anime, I hated the way the drawings art and bIG Eyes were, around 1999 when the Toonami block had just started, I liked Johnny Quest and I think Moltar from Space Ghost was hosting the show. So before Johnny Quest, they air DBZ, and because I hated japanese anime, i never gave it a chance and I chose Catdog over DBZ. Well finally, after getting out of school I got home and I told myself, let me give DBZ a chance, and they were at the scene where Goku and Vegeta are battling it for the first time on Earth and well from that moment forward, I had fallen in love with Dragonball Z and finally opened my horizon to different animes like Pokemon, Trigun, Case Closed, Bleach, Naruto, Noaki Urasawas Monster, Full Metal Alchemist, etc, etc, etc, etc.

what inspired me to watch anime? 1st episode of naruto on jetix when i was 11... i got addicted to it and then i heard of DB and one piece , then bleach started and i watched it online....

i watched all dub until i learnt that japan was further ahead
