Can't compared the too really. DBZ came out when there was nothing good on tv and the violence behind it made it become one of the biggest Anime on this planted. DBZ is always a influences towards kishi like he has said many time, so you can't really put a legend vs Naruto.

Nah, DBZ's plot was so simple, that's why it appealed to a lot of people. If you're not into anime, Naruto is probably a little too much for you to take in; which is why a lot of people who don't even bother to try Naruto, yet don't like it.

Its bound to happen, Naruto imo taught me a lot of things like for example when Neji was putting down hinata and calling her a failure, that episode taught me to always prove somebody wrong when they doubt me, lol all DBZ taught me was to beat the sh*t out people when my power lvl is over 9000,and to always shout when im bout to throw a punch
