Kabuto was in Konoha's orphanage where Danzo was in charge.
Plus,it also revealed that once old enough, the children of this orphanage could train as Konoha shinobi.

That's why they're wearing leaf headbands...more likely.

Nah i doubt he'd mek such a mistake. a lil bit outta his league, dontcha fynk? I'm sure there's sam sorta reason y they're wearing konoha headbands.

That's true.

Making mistakes shows , that Kishimoto is working by heart and with emotions , that makes him one of the best Mangaka out there.

Not everybody has the shinobi head bands like the people holding karin don't maybe only main fighters in the war got the shinobi head bands.

I don't understand how people get confused by such simple things. First, No it is not a flashback, every time there is a flashback the borders of the manga page are black, not white. Secondly, that guy is OBVIOUSLY the kid from Kabuto's orphanage, which was IN KONOHA territory, so they would OBVIOUSLY be working for Konoha. That is why they have lead headbands. They are not working for Tobi or anyone else or whatever the hell you think. They are from Konoha, and also part of the Allied Shinobi Army. Maybe they didn't get headbands because they are low ranking ninja, or maybe Kishi just wanted to show them with Konoha bands instead of the Shinobi bands because he wanted people to know for certain that it was the kid from the orphanage.

Most likely though he just ****ed up and drew them with Konoha headbands instead of the Shinobi headbands. He has done this many times. He drew Pain with a Konoha band instead of a Rain one. There are other example also, go find them.

Or they weren't able to join the army and didn't get the Shinobi headband so they decided to join and fight without being Shinobi but Konoha Ninja.

as i understand this part, it was a flash back of the time when kabuto was fighting for konoha as he was a ninja of konoha before. that time was during the staging war of the five countries. it could be the same era where the three sannins earned there title form hanzo....though this is my understanding of that past....i welcome other positions too.

the other persons there are his comrades from konoha too, this explains the headband on the forehead.

i beg to disagree...the mistakes shown on the link that you have presented are the mistakes of the maker of the thread

i will just show my proof to the situation as i check the link. I found out that he said:

Well if they had shinobi headbands, you would have no idea who the hell he is. I think them having kohona headbands lets you know its one of the kids from the orphanage.
