Sasuke's MS "Spamming"

People seem to always complain that all Sasuke does is spam his MS techs. (I posted this same thing as a comment and thought it should have its own thread)

It isn't only MS spam. He fought B and Raikage at first without it and almost died both times. I think he just realized that there are high level shinobi that he cannot go easy on. When facing people like the Raikage, (who can instantly go to somebody and slam them dead, remember that Darui and C where surprised that he survived 2 major attack. their reaction makes me believe A had one hit many people before.) Mizukage, (would've melted anybody without a susanoo level defense and even then susanoo was melting.) Killer Bee, (perfect jinchuriki) and Danzo (extra lives anyone?) he had to use his MS abilities.

All of these people had power ups that normal shinobi didn't have, either advanced kekkai genkai, (misspelled that?) Bijuu, or Bijuu level chakra. You don't see people being mad that Raikage A automatically uses Raiton Armor, Mizukage uses lava and steam, Oonoki uses Dust release, Naruto goes straight KM or SM, Danzo used spamtastic Izanagi, Tobi uses s/t jutsu, or Gaara uses sand.

I think after Sasuke almost died twice from Bee that he decided that he was with the heavy hitters now and had to use his big guns... MS

Anyway, I think he is pigeon-holing himself a little to much. If someone actually sorts out a counter to EMS techniques he doesn't have anything to fall back on since he has basically neglected everything else.

Well he has worked on other things. His versatility with lightning chakra is awesome. He couldn't use susanoo anymore so he stabbed Danzo with a chidori sword. He has somehow acquired a new hawk summon. His taijutsu was great even in part 1. He has I think A rank fire jutsu. He has things to fall back on... they are just not as good as his MS techs lol

I personally think its boring. There's no flare or any kind of style to an of his fights now. Not interesting to watch at all for one and there is no real skill required to use them. Getting them is hard yeah but not using. And even then he was kind of given those techs.

With all the other people he has fought it's been skills that they had to learn and master. Garra can't even be counted as spamming his sand. He has a ton of different techs with his sand. His sand is just the key to them.

People dont see that he had to spam with them in order to live through his fights. Look at Itachi, currently hes using MS techniques as often as Sasuke.

Sasuke relies on his ems way too much since its the only thing he can use to keep up with everyone else. The difference between him and say A and oonoki is that they spent years developing themselves into beasts and perfecting there jutsus while sasuke acquires a couple of the strongest abilities in the series instantly without working for it

Itachi has to spam now against kabuto since kabuto is crazy strong but when itachi was alive he rarely had to use susanoo and amaterasu

We haven't seen how other people have trained. People like to say without MS, Sasuke is nothing. Well without Kurama, Naruto wouldn't be much, without sand, Gaara wouldn't be much, Bijuu level chakra, A wouldn't be much, without Hachibi, Bee wouldn't be much. People without Bijuu, like A are probably geniuses. His raiton armor came easily due to his NATURALLY high chakra. Sasuke is a genius as well. He just easily masters jutsu. Like Jaraiya said in part 1, training a genuis like Sasuke would be boring. Who would want to see someone show Sasuke a jutsu and then him instantly perfect it? Remember that Naruto perfected rasenshurikin and SM in days and a week respectively. He had his own ways in getting things fast and so does Sasuke.

Well IMO there is a difference between Sasuke spamming MS techs and Naruto spamming rasengan or shadow clones. Naruto has to think a bit with his. I mean Naruto usually doesn't just overwhelm them with numbers. Genrally he does something somewhat clever. At least until he got bijuu mode. And Naruto worked hard to get his different rasengan techs. With Sasuke it's more like BAM he gets MS and automatically he can just hulk smash people (susanno) or glare at them dramatically and they burn up (amatarasu)

Becuase he was fighting against against much weaker opponents. Sasuke had to fight against Killer Bee and Kages, on his place Itachi would be forced to spam too.

Again... genius... things come easily to him. Also, Sasuke went through hell and back to acquire MS. Itachi almost killed him and then he realizes the guy he killed was protecting him his whole life. That is enough emotional and physical turmoil that he went through his entire life. Naruto has had the same thing with Kurama. He just doesn't get things as fast as Sasuke and even then he has gotten things pretty fast lately, they just focus more on him because he is the MAIN character.

Its not like he no longer analyze things. In fight against Danzo, he outsmarted him.

Fair points but Itachi literally gave MS to Sasuke. And Itachi controlled the entire fight between the two of them. He was never in any real danger. Naruto actually could have died with Kurama or gone all nine tailed or whatever. I totally respect Sasuke for his chidori manipulation summonings, and all that other stuff. I prefer all that stuff. Every since MS he just uses Susanoo or amatarasu. I am personally getting very sick of them. When Itachi was alive he didn't have to use his MS techs all the freaking time. IMO I just feel like Sasuke is turning into a one trick pony with the MS stuff. I would like him to mix it up a bit more.
