Naruto: A Legends Tale
Chapter 1
Post-War Arc
~Chapter Start~
We enter the village of Konoha with civilians of all ages surrounding a single person. That person is none other than Naruto Uzumaki! They chant his name and throw him into the air dozens of times.
Naruto: Weeeeeeee!
We see Sakura and Kakashi having a conversation a few feet away from the crowd
Sakura: He sure does deserve this celebration especially after what he's done for the war.
Kakashi: I'll say he saved us all during the war without him Tobi might have actually gotten close to Naruto.
Sakura: Ya... *Blushes*
Lee, Neji, Ino, Shikamaru and a few others walk towards Sakura and Kakashi. Kakashi and Sakura turn around
In Unison: Hello!
Sakura and Kakashi: Yo!
Shikamaru: It's great how we have this time of peace...
They all agree by shaking their heads and they stare at Naruto who has finally touched the ground. Naruto looks around and sees his friends standing and decides to join them despite the huge crowd
Naruto: Hey everybody! I'm starving lets head over to Ichiraku for some ramen.
Everyone follows Naruto to Ichiraku
Scene Changes to a barren forest with few trees left standing where the war took place... On the ground we see a pile of rubble move slightly and a dark shadow emerges. The shadow moves out into the sunlight and we see that it is none other than Tobi himself with his mask heavily damaged from the battle.
Tobi: *Grunt* My plan for world peace was thwarted by those Konoha Shinobi this time, but I will get my vengeance on them.
The scene changes back to Konoha. The sun is setting and the citizens that once occupied the streets are now heading inside. Only Naruto and his friends remain hanging around Ichiraku laughing and reminiscing about the old days.
Naruto: ...remember that time when I...
Naruto suddenly stops his speech as he feels something strange something ominous. Everyone stares directly at him as they wonder if he is alright
Shikamaru: Naruto are you alright?
There is a long pause and Naruto finally acknowledges them
Naruto: um... ya I'm alright thank you Shikamaru... *smiles*
Shikamaru: Ya... sure Naruto...
*stares at Naruto thinking what just happened*
Sakura: How about we all go home and call it a day. We are all very tired from the war.
Everyone agrees and begin saying their goodbyes, some of them are leaving in groups some alone
Scene changes to Naruto entering his house and jumping onto his bed
Naruto: *Thinking* What was that feeling a few moments ago...it felt like a very dark energy like something sinister...
Naruto turns on one side staring out of his window and begins to fall asleep
