You're absolutely insane, guy beat Kisame who is stronger than most kages. Guy using his gates, even at sixth gate, is kage level due to his huge speed, strength, and the new jutsu he unlocks. As for fighting the raikage, I'm really not sure who would win. We don't know exactly how physically strong guy is so whether or not he could beat him with taijutsu is debatable. Morning peacock may work (day time tiger wouldn't - it's an area of effect jutsu, it's not very strong at its center so the raikage's defences would be greater) and even though we've seen nothing of the eighth gate yet I'm sure he's capable of beating him with that.
Keep this in mind - Guy made it very clear that his eighth gate could deflect five TBB's in a matter of seconds, perhaps less time than that. Whatever that gate does is not to be f***ed with and Guy could take on the raikage with that kind of power with little doubt in my mind.
So, basically 6th gate+ Guy has a chance, 8th gate will win at the cost of his own life. Either way he will be extremely exhausted and will probably end up dying assuming he manages to win. Good match up.

seven gates, against the 4th Raikage? IMO, I doubt it. maybe if he went to the 8th gate, he could possibly stand a chance. I don't know since it's only been talked about but not seen before.

raikage is fast ,and his chatra lvl is equal to taile beast and as guy only know tai and we wont seen anyone breking raikage ligting armor so a wins it with mid easy
6th gate could be potentially enough, 7th would have little purpose beyond increased speed and strength because day time tiger wouldn't be very effective against V1/V2 lightning armor. Keep in mind that the 6th gate is extremely powerful, it held off a few of Tobi's edo-jinchurikis that were using the second version of the chakra shroud. Guy has a chance in 6+ but 8th is most likely a guaranteed win as anything that can deflect 5 TBB's and deal with six transformed jinchurikis is extremely strong.

i say raikage hes to fast for guy and he is a beast and relentless when it comes to fight as seen when fighting sasuke guy would have to go eight gate to win but at the cost of his life but as we haven't seen the 8th gate i can really say who would win and if raikages lightning armour is anything like his dads than guy would have a hard time damaging him
How is a taijutsu user his worst match again? I'll agree it's not as favorable as a jutsu spammer like Kakuzu but there could be worse. Also, my reasoning against him beating Kisame was to say that Guy was kage level, it had nothing to do with the raikage fight.
Let me explain my thoughts again more clearly, though: Guy has a chance of beating A in the 6th and 7th gates at the cost of extreme injury and possibly death but in the 8th gate he will win almost guaranteed at the cost of his life. His 6th gate defeated edo-jinchurikis with partial transformations, obliterated Kisame's 30% chakra clone (which doesn't really matter, 30% of Kisame is more than enough - he was still nearly full strength based on feats) while his 7th gate would do nothing more than increase his strength and speed it could put both of those abilities beyond the raikage's, what really matters is the 8th gate. If he was so sure that he would deflect all of those TBB's and stand a chance against the edo-jinchurikis would no doubt be able to deal with the raikage.
A is strong but don't over-estimate him, he's only got one arm which alone puts him at a huge disadvantage but considering that the gates are one of the most OP techniques in the series it's very likely that A would lose his life in this situation, leaving Guy dead or seriously injured.

Raikage has this low-mid difficulty. 1-7 gates. 8 gates I don't know.
Kisame managed to tank Guy's Daytime Tiger without Samehada... it will do much less damage against Raikage with Raiton Armor activated (if it even manages to hit him, which is very unlikely). Plus, using the gates for a small amount of time caused Guy's muscle fibers to rip to the point where even a touch will give him intense pain.

Guy wouldn't use day time tiger on A, it's an area of effect jutsu, he only used it to deal with the thousand sharks. Also, we don't know how physically strong guy is in his 6th-7th gates, we know the gates don't work in a linear way (it's more exponential) so I see nothing that shows he couldn't beat A with just taijutsu. Keep in mind A is missing an arm which puts him at a gigantic disadvantage. A needs to be more worried about morning peacock imo, I feel it could cause some damage if used up close. As for the muscle damage, yea, it's very likely but the damage he causes to A while using the gates would be relatively equal if not greater.
Also Kisame's samehada had nothing to do with tanking day time tiger, while it's not your main point Kisame used something that would absorb more chakra than samehada but daytime tiger isn't a chakra based technique so it had no effect.
No... he used the Morning Peacock to deal with the 1000 sharks, and that move is even weaker than the Daytime Tiger. That is barely doing any damager to the Raikage. I didn't factor in A's arm missing, but even without it he will still win mid difficulty. Raikage is faster than Guy.. Stronger than Guy.. has a better defence than Guy. Raikage has enough speed to make a Mangekyo Sharingan user look in a completely different direction, Guy has nowhere near that type of speed feat.
Are you serious? You think the damage which Guy gives to Raikage will be equal to the damage Raikage gives to him + the damage he is getting from using the gate? Never ever would that happen... If you think so then you are either seriously overrating guy or underestimating Raikage.
I didn't say Kisame's Samehada helped him tank the Daytime Tiger, I said he tanked it without Samehada. Samehada is able to heal.
