Introduction:
This fanfiction is set 3 years after the end of the 4th Shinobi War. The villages have been rebuilt and a new Shinobi system has been created, one where the 5 villages work together to deal with rogue Shinobi and fight to prevent another organisation like Akatsuki being created. NOTE: In this fanfiction the war was one however Tobi and Edo Madara escaped. Nruto & Hinata are dating, and they have been for a while, Naruto has confessed his love for her. Also Sakura & Sasuke are a couple. All of the Akatsuki members are dead, none of them survived and Kabuto was killed by Sasuke. I know some of this may seem unrealistic but it is for the purpose of the fanfiction.
The scene is Konoha, the whole Village has flooded to the streets in celebration, for this is the 3rd anniversary that the Shinobi war ended in Victory for the alliance, coincidently it was also the day the new Hokage was to be announced as Tsunade has retired due to old age and wounds from the war.
Shikamaru: Where is he? Today is the biggest day of his life and he is nowhere to be seen.
*Shikamaru paces up and down the room of the Hokage office nervously awaiting the new Hokages arrival.*
Sakura: Calm down Shikamaru, you know what he is like, he is probably off eating ramen. Besides, Sasuke is out looking for him.
*The two laugh to each other reminiscing about old days in the academy*
A loud thud is heard outside the office, the door swings open and reveals an angry Sasuke dragging along a weeping Naruto.
Naruto: SASUKE! don't sneak up on me like that I was trying to eat my ramen, it was calming my nerves!
Sakura: Hey Naruto! Stop being such an idiot! Today is the day you have been working hard for all of your life and you are skiving off eating food! You can't do that as Hokage you know.
*Naruto frowns, knowing she is right but not wanting to admit it, he sticks out his tongue at here. He stands up, only having grown an inch or two over the past 3 years, still wearing his orange jumpsuit*
Naruto: I suppose I better get changed into these new Hokage robes, it feels weird throwing these out.
Shikamaru: It is weird just imagining you as Hokage, let alone it actually happening.
*They all laugh, even Sasuke manages to let out a grin. They all begin to leave the room*
Sasuke: Well, we better leave you to it, we will assemble on the roof in a bit when we unveil you to the village.
*The door closes behind them, leaving Naruto alone to his thoughts, he begins to get changed with a big smile on his face, thinking about his previous missions and his role in the war, all leading up to this day*
An hour passes, Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata, Shikimaru, Tsunade, Kakashi and Lee have assembled on the roof of the Hokage Mansion. Naruto stands in front of them, dressed in his new Hokage robes, almost identical to the ones he wore in sage mode, the only difference is the word 'Hokage' printed on the back.
Naruto: Thank you all for coming, I have asked you here to inform you of your new roles in the village, if you choose to take them that is.
*Trying not to laugh at the thought of how he is now commanding his freinds*
Naruto: Sasuke, I have assigned you the position of head of the Konoha police department, seeing as your clan has a history of it, however I would like to work a lot closer to all of you, giving you more roles, seeing as I am scrapping ANBU.
Sasuke: Of course, Hokage-Sama
*Sasuke is smiling at the prospect of him following in his clans footsteps*
Naruto: Shikamaru, your intelligence is unmatched by anybody in this village, I would like yo to work along side me as my right hand man and my advisor.
Shikamaru: Yes Hokage-Sama
Naruto: Sakura. Your medical Ninjutsu are better than even Granny Tsunade's, I would like you to be an ambassador to other the other villages for Medical ninjutsu. Seeing as we will be having more frequent visitors from the other villages, it will be your job to teach them the skills to pass on to Genins in their own villages.
Sakura: Y..Yes Hokage-Sama
*Sakura is shocked at her new job, expecting to be head of the Konoha hospital, she is pleased, knowing she will make much more of a difference.*
Naruto: Lee, I would like you to be head of the Shinobi Academy, you yourself know the importance of hard work and there is nobody better than you to inspire the young shinobi.
*Lee's eyes are filled with fire, letting out a grin across his whole face*
Lee: YES HOKAGE-SAMA! I WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!
Naruto: Finaly, Hinata, I have something to ask you.
Naruto walks over to Hinata, she blushes.
Naruto: Hinata, will you marry me?
Hinata: Y...Yes Naruto-Kun
She hugs him tightly and they share a kiss, the others all laugh amongst themselves.
Sakura: It is about time
Tsunade: Kakashi, I think its about time you and I open the ceremony.
*Kakashi has a beaming smile on his face, one so big the outline is visible through his mask.*
Kakashi: I think so, the villagers have waited long enough.
*They all turn to face the see of villagers, a loud cheer is heard, it is deafening*

The scene cuts to a poorly lit cave, the outline of a villainous man sits in the corner, have of his face showing from the candle light. Footsteps are heard approaching.
???: Well do you not think it is about time we get on with our plan, it has been 3 years.
The man's eyes open, revealing his EMS, it is none other than Madara's.
Madara: Round up the new recruits it is about time we get our revenge.
