Preta path absorbs chakra and amaterasu is exactly that, so yes it can be absorbed. Just because Nagato didn't absorb it doesn't mean he can't.

amen to that bro, besides what would have been the point of absorbing amateratsu and not even getting a snack , when he could have simply waited for the jins(the ones who have all the chakra) to attack him and got a full course lunch?

Madara made it clear that it could absorb anything chakra based. Only physical impact would get passed it. That evidence is not good enough. If anything, it means Nagato had options; either absorb it or blow it away.

His blowing it away doesn't imply lack of a better option. The point was to get rid of it and he did just that.

Also in terms of the explosive tag evidence posted. The Preta path is part of Gedojustu range. Nagato had not yet learned it by that time. Madara was already aware of such jutsu before he died.

Preta Path can absorb any " Ninjutsu ". it is not necccesery if it is eye tech or sage tech, essential thing is being Ninjutsu. But wont work against Genjitsu if you tried to say that, but Eye techs no young padawan

^^This. The only way I would believe that it couldn't absorb MS techs is if

1) Kabuto had tried and failed to absorb Ameratasu

or

2) It is directly stated in the manga or databook that MS techs can't be absorbed

Yup I agree, I also mentioned that on some thread but it got totally ignored.. it's about the fact that (why Kabuto didn't let Nagato to absorb Amaterasu), but instead.. he used Shinra Tensei to blow it away..? that's a prove that Amaterasu "can't" be absorb, neither is Susanoo.. Amaterasu used to be called the flames of "Hell" or something like that, has anyone forgot? yes it's made out of Chakra but I also think it's something special..

Also, Kabuto isn't stupid.. if Amaterasu could have been absorbed, he would've absorb it to let Nagato regenerate his health, so that he would recover to his original statues, but instead he used Shinra Tensei to blow it away cause he COULDN'T absorb it.

IF IT HAS CHAKRA, IT GETS ABSORBED BY PRETA PATH. but amaterasu is diffirent, since it dodges the preta path barrier, you have to let it hit you before you can absorb it with preta path, or blow it away with shinra tensie. gengutsu is the only exception.

i think it's more of the Preta Paths aura then amaterasu. i mean look at what happened to naruto's rasengan, nagato absorbed it BEFORE it hit. and since amaterasu already hit it couldn't be absorbed. Or at least something similar to this. it's more of a ninjutsu negation, it doesn't really seem to stop what already hits it.

yeah but bee hit nagato too and the he used preta path after he was being hit so that doesn t mean he can t absorb ninjutsu or chakra if it hits him

preta path doesn t have a barrier my friend bee hit nagato then he absorbed his chakra that s the same with naruto sm preta path had contact with him
