Theory: Madara and "Nagato"
Lol this is my first "Who is Tobi thread" I haven't seen anyone make a thread with a theory similar so, If you have please don't go telling me search button.
Anyway,in chapter 559, Madara was resurrected and states that
From this statement we can assume that the Nagato he referred to was a child. The only Nagato we know is, Nagato of the Uzumaki clan. But Nagato is way too young to have met Madara even when he was a child.
We know that Madara was plotting his resurrection with "Tobi" from his statement in chapter 560
So now my theory is the Nagato Madara was talking about is Tobi, and their connection may be Madara was suppose to die with his eyes and Nagato was suppose to take the eyes, bury Madara somewhere safe and manipulate someone else (Uzumaki Nagato) or himself (According to plan) to resurrect Madara.
BTW I have a question: What did Madara mean when he said

Zetsu clones don't disappear.Because I have posted it before THOUSANDS of times but alright here is my theory on who I think who tobi is, I think that tobi is the real zetsu, remember when he fought Fu and torune? when he got infected and broke his arm himself he attached back with what it seems to be zetsu DNA or something

ok guy's I'm new around here so I don't know if someone already though about this, but anyway, please leave your thoughs
So I went almost over all Tobi theories around the forum and found some really interesting the most convincing is Tobi=Kagami.
We know that this guy was in Tobirama's team, with Hiruzen, Danzo, the 2 other elders and the Akimichi guy, we saw all of them later when the Kyubi attacked Konoha, we also saw that Danzo and the Uchiha were missing, we don't know if Kagami is already dead or if he(Tobi) worked along with Danzo and the Uchiha in oreder to attack Konoha.
I'm convinced that Madara, Kagami and Obito are all related. As we know Hiruzen was the student of the first and the second hokage, so I think that Kagami may be possibly Madara's son and not some kind of clone, hatred clone, genjutsu or Sasuke from the future crap. I beleive that Kagami being Madara's son may explain how the 2 men know each other and seems to work together, he carry the hatred of his father, he helped to murder the clan that betrayed his father, he claimed to be had his father's powers in sing of repect, he also said that he admired Hashirama and hated him beacause he defeated Madara, so the guy definitely knows Hashirama and Kagami was definitely around in Hashirama's era.
Maybe Kagami used the DNA of the zetsu to make his life longer which explains the use of izanagi and the white fluid. By being madara's son he may also took the Rinnegan when Madara died, then he put it in Nagato.
Then my theory of Obito being Kagami son! Asuma is about the same age as Kakashi and Kakashi the same age of Obito, so if Asuma was the son of Hiruzen maybe Obito is the son of Kagami, it perfectly make sense. So when obito was crushed by the boulder he took obito's eye and that may explain his space-time ninjutsu that looks a lot like Kakashi.
This may also explain why he said to Kakashi "I'll deal with you latter" he maybe what to take revenge on his son.
That pretty much it, if I missing something please tell me nd if I'm wrong please say it, leave comments.

Seriously? I find it funny that no one has ever thought of this theory before. The OP must be a genius this must not be the bajillion thread about Tobi's identity where he is Izuna. Hell no need to use the search button because clearly this is a brand new theory.

Alot of my theories have changed since I joined NB, but 1 that will forever stay the same is the current Tobi(Orange Swirl Mask and White Rinnegan Mask) = Obito. I've noticed alot of people on NB keep saying he can't be Obito because when Yellow Tigerstripe Mask fought Minato, Obito was a child and dead.....Most people forget that around that time the Uchiha was still full of ninja(Itachi's Wetworks mission hadn't happen yet) some time had passed, Minato had become Hokage, Team Minato was disbanded, Kakashi joined ANBU, Rin is gone, and Obito had been "dead" for a while. That theory of Zetsu coming into the picture when Obito "died" is still probable. Who knows what experiements were done on Obito in that time frame....I don't. The Yellow Tigerstripe Mask who fought Minato was neither Obito nor Madara but another Uchiha(I think it was Fugaku, Chief of Police, and somewhat leader of the Uchiha, who could be carrying on the legacy of Madara) Fugaku was a high ranked Uchiha and around the same age as Minato(he most likely knew enough data about controlling Bijuu from doing research -since he knew about the enhanced lifespan of Kishina Uzumaki when he appeared while she was giving birth and knew her beast seal was at it's weakest- also from knowing or researching about the Hashirama/Madara Battle and had enough skill to battle but not kill Minato alone-thats where Kurama comes into the equation-), Sasuke and Naruto are still babies, Itachi is still a kid. And Kurama should most definitely know who Tobi is, Kurama has been controlled by the sharigan twice now by my understanding. 1st by Madara vs Hashirama and 2nd by Fugaku(theoretically) vs Minato. It may very well be Obito Uchiha who is Tobi, he has never controlled or encountered Kurama, therefore Kurama didn't recognize his chakra everytime he encountered Naruto. Obito may have been in hiding with Zetsu since his "death", and it's also said that Tobi(Obito Uchiha) assisted Itachi in killing his Clan(I believe he did it to retrieve the sharigans -which may be true since he has such a large collection shown when he did surgery on Sasuke-), Fugaku(Yellow Tigerstripe Mask) and Madara were now dead, Obito comes out of hiding taking the persona of Madara wearing Fugaku's mask to gain Itachi's trust, Itachi never met Obito because he was "dead" before Itachi's birth so Itachi has no idea who resides behind the mask he just knows that the man is of Uchiha descent. Itachi believes or gives Tobi the impression that he believes he is Madara, and carries out his mission. Itachi flees the village and becomes a missing-nin. Zetsu or whoever has been healing Obito since his "death"(I wanna be the 1st to say Rin just in case it turns out to be her, since she mysteriously disappeared or died) surgically replaced his missing sharigan with one of the many he retrieved. Obito goes to Kirigakure to test his new eyes by controlling their Mizukage with genjutsu and giving Kisame orders that he loyally does. Kisame smells something fishy *pun intended lol* and Tobi reveals his true identity which is Obito. Kisame reacts like he knows him ( IDK why ). Fast foward to Itachi joining the Akatsuki and being partnered up with Kisame, Itachi and Kisame exchange stories of how they became missing-nin and realises the Yellow Tigerstripe Mask that made Kisame kill his own is the same that helped him(Obito Uchiha)-like I said earlier Itachi may have already knew he wasn't Madara- Itachi keeps quiet about it but knows the truth(Madara isn't who he says he is). This theory also adds to the statement Tobi made when he said he is the true founder of Akatsuki.
