I'm saying this and making it a thread because I want as many people as possible to know what I and others think about this game now that we have bought it and wasted a lot of money on it.
From another NB member:
Let's keep this simple. Gameplay has been refined and it has been made alot more difficult to perform certain cheap tactics. The character roster is great and the available amount of modes is a nice add on, despite being available in almost every other fighter.
Let's be honest, the cut scenes are for the most part very good in the story mode but the narrative is repetitive and boring and the whole story mode is FAR too short. It's disgraceful to be honest, you can finish it in a few hours, easily. This game should not have been RRP at full game price (roughly £40 where I'm from).
Online is still absolutely YEARS behind other matchmaking systems as I tried 20 TIMES, YES, 20 TIMES on quick match to get a ranked game. A quick match should as quickly as possible pair two players who are not currently within a game together so a game can be played QUICKLY. I constantly get paired with other users who are 'already busy'. It's a joke.
Hopefully the next iteration will keep up with the improved game mechanics and seriously offer us some substantial game play here. Survival modes etc are nice, but they take so little work to implement and they are pretty much a stick on for every game in existence, so don't kid yourselfs and think that this was genuine innovation. It is merely a form of filler to ensure that players have some more reason to play this game as the story mode is ridiculously short.
Gameplay = Great Improvements
Graphics = Ususal high standard
Cut Scenes = Very good
Lifespan = Despicably short
Online = Reasonable improvements, but matchmaking system is still extremely poor (take a look at EA's online games, or bungies etc etc)
Character Roster = Great
Overall I am dissapointed with this game. I still play online alot, but honestly single player is a disgrace. I've seen DLC updates for games with a greater lifespan than this game.
I have to agree with everything this person says. The game is a disgrace to the fans and really let me down. It's not a full game by any means. Simply a cash-in on some new characters they made. At best it should have become a small add on/DLC for NUNS 2. Not a full-price Game.
BTW,feel free to say what things you think they could add to make it or NUNST 3 better.
