My dislike about this chapter is that kishi is making it like sasuke and itachi had nice time after portraying envy &neglect since part 1. Also didn't sasuke almost tried to kill himself by training so hard so when was he confidence to go and tag team with someone else without even passing genin class test. Remember itachi was named a genius, head of anbu black oops at very young age so what would he be doing with an inexperience ninja like asuke

Chapter starts with Kabuto healing his horn
Sasuke: that's right...he has karin's abilities...what a pain.
Kabuto: As always, very impressive Itachi.
Itachi: Enough talk, let's finish this.
Sasuke: Right.
Itachi and Sasuke charge at Kabuto.
Kabuto: Tell me Itachi, have you ever wondered who was realy behind the mask?
Itachi stops
Itachi: !
Sasuke: What? The mask? What mask?
Kabuto: The one the both of you call Madara Uchiha.
Sasuke: What about him...
Itachi: *Kabuto....do you even know what happened...how*
Kabuto: kukuku....
Sasuke: Speak up!
Kabuto: I see...so you never told Sasuke what REALLY happened.
Itachi: Enough Kabuto. He doesn't need to hear it.
Sasuke: Hear what? Speak damit!
Kabuto: Well for starters....the one behind the mask...is not Madara Uchiha.
Itachi and Sasuke: !?
Sasuke: How can he not be him? Who is it then?
Itachi: How do you know it's not Madara..have you seen his face?
Kabuto: not yet, I'm getting to that. He's next on my kill list after both Sasuke and Naruto are dead. However, the real Madara Uchiha is currently fighting the 5 kages.
Itachi: !
Sasuke: So what of all this?
Kabuto: Let's all take a time out. I think Sasuke needs to hear this.
Itachi charges at Kabuto but Kabuto goes underground and splits everywhere.
Kabuto: Alright, now that I can talk freely...
Itachi:....
Kabuto: It all happened back before the Uchiha massacre.
Scene switches to a flashback
Danzo: Itachi. You know what you must do.
Itachi:....
Danzo: This is for the benefit of the Uchiha. Do not disappoint me.
Itachi: Understood.
Itachi leaves.
Behind Danzo a shadowy figure appears.
???: Are you sure he can go through with the mission.
Danzo: No, that's why a ninja must always have a plan 2. You....do what Itachi must do if he decides to refuse the mission, but do not kill him.
???: As you wish.
Scene switch to a full moon.
Itachi with his gear on near the anbu police.
Itachi: I'll have to take out the police force first.
Itachi:....No...this is wrong. I can find a better way.
As Itachi looks through the window, he sees dead bodies everywhere.
Itachi: What? what is this? I never...
A cut slash from far away.
Itachi; !?
Itachi looks in the distance and a man is shown walking out someones house into another one.
Itachi charges at the man. But he vanishes through the ground.
Itachi: What? how?
Itachi: Could ti be...Danzo...did you hire another assasin...Shit Sasuke! Mother and Father!
As Itachi comes into his house he sees blood.
Itachi: No....MOM, DAD!
Itachi opens the doors to see a masked man standing on them.
Itachi: Mom.....Dad......Damn you! (Activates mangekyou sharingan)
Itachi engages at him but goes right through him.
Itachi: Who are you! Show yourself.
???: If you desire my power, find the organization called Akatsuki and pursue them. I will be there.
The hooded figure looks at Itachi.
Itachi: !? Sha--sharingan?
Tobi: until we meet again, Itachi.
Tobi warps away. As he does, Sasuke walks in the room.
Itachi: !!!
Sasuke: Nii-san...why?
Itachi, set up by the masked man!?
Chapter end.

My thoughts exactly and I hope it happens too. However, even if it does happen, there's a great deal that Sasuke has to clean up after when he was part of Taki/Hebi/Akatsuki. Then, there's Madara...

I disagree that it's a big thing. He's the guilty party, he doesn't get to decide that he deserves a pardon.WTF,if he just help the five nations to stop tobi or madara they will accept him and have no other choice(saving kages or 5 nations is a big thing
When he absorbed Orochimaru and the world thought he was dead he could have come back a hero. When he killed Itachi - the murderer of Konoha's "best and brightest clan" he could have come back as a hero.
Not actually possible under the current circumstances without them overlooking things that they shouldn't, wouldn't or actually can't overlook.
Common sense would also dictate that he team up with whoever else was trying to go toe to toe against Tobi (and also Kabuto) for his own sake. Since they both have unknown and presumably nasty plans for him that obviously don't mean him any good.
((Consider these as well.
Minato encounters Tobi, regards him as strong and very dangerous and seals half of Kurama into Naruto to help him fight Tobi some day.
Itachi also viewed him as a threat to the point where he lays a trap on Sasuke for him, but we're not shown him taking any offensive action against Tobi prior to this. Why?
Tobi lies to Sasuke several times in his conversation with him after his battle. He is also the second accomplice that he should have targeted after his fight with Itachi. He even took his chance for revenge on them and helped Itachi kill them.
Sasuke has seen him ignited by amaterasu, has even lunged at him at least once and ceased offensive action. Though I suppose I can't say any more about this until the next time they come face to face and we see what happens.)
Am I the only one who wondered why he left Kabuto alive in the first place? Correcting his mistake and saving his own skin in the process is not pardon material. But if he can twist it to his advantage I hope that he does. But the jig will be up when Inoichi looks into his mind.)
What I am describing is the mountain of issues that they (or Kishimoto-sensei) would have to bend over backwards to find ways to overlook. It seems possible though, since Gaara is alive and Kazekage. There also seems to be a 'theme' in play about the chickens that resulted from previous "heavy handed" actions coming home to roost.
Good example, Hanzo teaming up with Danzo to neutralize the well-meaning ame-orphans. This we all know results in Yahiko dying, Hanzo and his associates being wiped off the map, lots of Jinchuuriki's murdered, Jiraiya murdered, and Konoha flattened etc etc.
If the bulk of the charges can be made solely a domestic (Konoha) issue, the Raikage comes around and none of the Daimyo's overrule their Kage's then he will only have the Samurai to worry about.
I think that that has the potential to be the real spanner in the works because they are not a part of the ninja system at all.
In fact they are neutral which was why they were hosting the summit - nothing to lose or gain.
If everyone else decides to not punish him they might just say, "trial is on Wednesday ship him express we've a tight schedule."
Things will only get worse if it's made public knowledge that he's been taking aggressive action when he knows his clan were executed not murdered.
Not to mention if they're maintaining that he is one of them they are liable for all the damage he's caused and would have to make restitution etc. This is where the fire country's Daimyo would probably baulk.

Yea that would be nice but you have to think that when they stop the edo sasuke will not get to talk to itachi and this could possibly only bulid more resentment in him and make him prosue people even harder

So I noticed a few things about this chapter.
1. It seems that Sasuke is remembering what it was like to have his brother around, and that's causing him to behave like he used to (instead of acting like a psycho murderer bent on revenge).
It seems as though after Itachi massacred their clan and left the village, the loss of his brother seemed to tear Sasuke apart, pushing him over the edge as he got older. Then after confronting him and killing him, he just completely lost it, becoming this cold blooded killing machine.
But now that Itachi is back in his life, it seems as if Sasuke is grounded again, back to where he was when he had a big brother in his life. On some deep level, I think Sasuke really regretted everything that had happened, and seeing Itachi again must have really changed how Sasuke felt in his heart.
2. I'm not sure about the flashback, but it seems as though it's just filler Kishi is giving us to make it seem like there's some connection between Sasuke and Itachi that we've never seen before.
It just doesn't really fit with the story, imo. It feels forced. Not like something that really happened.
3. Susanoo seems to be a conduit for other techniques. Base level Susanoo is like a technique that shapes your imagination into reality. It gives the wielder the ability to create a buffer between themselves and the enemy, in the form of the body of Susanoo.
From there, it seems like the wielder of Susanoo can use it to manipulate other techniques in an extraordinary fashion from what they would be able to otherwise.
The first time we saw Sasuke wield Susanoo, it was an extension of his physical abilities. As he learned how to wield it better, it became more of an absolute defense, one which he combined with Amaterasu to shape and manipulate the black flames.
Then he started using it to create a ranged weapon with the bow, and now we've seen where he came up with that idea.

So along comes Madara, and his Susanoo is a little different, wielding a sword and utilizing Tomoe shuriken.

Then we see Itachi doing the same thing with the Tomoe shuriken.

But then we also saw Madara utilize his Susanoo to create a huge 'Meteor' which results in a similar technique to Chibaku Tensei.

The main difference being that Pain created his giant 'meteor' by sucking up existing materials from around the area into a huge ball, while Madara seemed to create his out of thin Air.

Also, when Sasuke departed from Tobi's hideout and encountered Zetsu clones, he utilized Susanoo to manipulate Ameterasu in projectile fashion.

From these chapters, I've been able to come to the conclusion that Susanoo is as strong as the wielders mind makes it, and that the basic function of Susanoo is to create what the mind imagines. This could be a giant weapon, a manipulated technique, or even a) technique itself, like the Sword of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror.

I believe that Susanoo's appearance changes based on the mood of the character (or the mood of the artist
All in all, we've seen the level of ability with Susanoo increase based on the user's level of Sharingan, with Rinnegan being the most powerful version (thus far). I don't think it would be that far fetched for all the Susanoo users to be able to perform the same techniques (Sasuke/Madara with the Sword of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror).
It also makes me wonder why we haven't seen Tobi using Susanoo.

You know I just realised that it may not only be Jugo's DNA keeping Kabuto in sage mode (if at all) it might be that snake on his belly like an umblical cord. Perhaps it acts like the elder frog sage couple and draws in natural energy for him.
