Why are fire jutsus so pathetic?

Maybe it's just me, but outside of Amaterasu, most fire jutsus have seem to be worthless. Most are either some sort of variation of a fireball, and they're usually always dodged or countered in some way. It could be me, as I don't really remember everyone who used a fire jutsu, but it seems Amaterasu is the only fire jutsu that has done any real damage. Other elements have seemed to be so much more versatile and damaging.

Lighting:
Raikage's armor, Kakashi's Raikiri, etc.

Wind:
Naruto's Rasenshuriken

Water:
Kisame's Missle Shark Attack

Earth:
Kakuzu's Iron Skin, Kakashi's underground jutsu, etc.

Itachi has pretty got fire techniques but I 100% agree with you. We dont see so much good fire jutsus.

But for everyone else, they always seem to just be "fireballs". I think it would be awesome if there was more versatility.

Kakuzu's Fire Release: Intelligent Hard Work is only second to Madara's Fire Releases especially when he combined it with his Wind Style: Pressure Damage.
