Edo Tensei does not count towards an individuals own strength

Edo tensei is a mere summoning jutsu just like the toads are for Minato, Jiraiya, and Naruto. It pretty much is a part of the shinobi's power.

Kabuto's Sage mode now makes him one of the top, but Edo Tensei doesn't.
Kabuto isn't even controlling them. Controlling them means he is dictating what techniques they use and when. He's only forcing them to fight, but now how they fight.

what? kabuto was controlling them.. well some of them, the others he gave basic instructions..

he controlled nagato throughout the entire 3v1 fight..

that was HIS skill with nagato... like a gamer playing with a char... he even forgot that nagato had chibaku tensei untill the end..

ofc the real nagato wouldn't fight like that.. but in the end it was him using jutsu, him moving etc, it was his power

It doesn't Count in a linear sense, but don't Discount it. He has to be able to manage all of them (like 15 minds worth at once, and how each of their bodies and techniques works), feed them chakra, ect. Additionally, he has many formidable techniques of his own, such as multi-layered regeneration, body reformation and resistance to many forms of damage. All in all, he is worth about 10ish +/- 6 pages of playtime for Itachi in order to allow time for Madara to fight the Kages.

I do not think he has to feed them chakra, they have unlimited chakra, stamina, and health when they are summoned. I think it only uses chakra at the summoning point. But my point is theoretically anyone has access to this move, and can get power shinobi to fight for them. Say if it was ten ten using this move would you say she would be a top 5 ninja?

But I agree that kabuto can be good on his own with his new dragon sage mode.

It still takes incredible ability to master this jutsu! Tobirama and Oro (the only previous 2 who could use this jutsu) could control about 2 or 3 people. Kabuto has far surpassed their abilities and is able to control numerous bodies, enough to fight a war! According to your logic, Madara isn't as strong as he is hyped up to be (before he died NOT EDO) and neither is tobi because a huge part of what they do is control the Tailed beasts. They don't actually fight but it takes massive skill to be able to summon and/or control them

He is a snake. What exactly do you expect?

He would have nagato madara and the actual sage in his possession(while he never actually fights nor need to full control them)

Difference with him and a real puppeteer in naruto is that they're some risk with controlling something/someone. Nagato used extreme amount of chakra, ino lost control of her own body, Kankurou/Sasori is actually on the battle field mid/close range.

Kabuto is basically hiding..this is not his power.
His new sage mode is his power.

1- That's because Orochimaru was a Bawssss
2- I'm not denying Kabuto's a snake, but at the same time, look at the grand scheme of things. He's killed countless ninja with Edo Tensei.
3- Even if you do call him a coward, he's fighting the Uchiha brothers, which is another feat in it's own right. Whether he loses or not ( which he will ) how many ninja can fight the Uchiha brothers and win anyway? xd

Yes he can use it whenever he wants but it his not his own power. He is getiing people to fight for him. I guess if kabuto were to summon the sage of six paths, that would make him the most powerful ninja ever right?
