Kabuto is starting to gain my recognition and tbh ill admit right now that he is a great threat even without edo tensei. He is basically a combination of tsunade and orochimaru.

He has great medic ninjutsu and very hard to kill. Even remember tsuande saying that he was better than her in her prime, although he hasnt shown such feat, he is still an incredible medic ninjutsu.

He has surpassed orochimaru, not only with edo tensei but all other snake affiliated jutsu's

Oro even without in his prime is deadly now imagine him at his prime with a fresh body and oro is a genius so i doubt he wont be prepared for a counter to edo tensei. Kabuto will shit his pants if he cones face to face with prime oro

We dont know what other snake summonings he has, but since he has a snake contract i wouldnt be surprised if he can also use the hydra technique, but lets saye he cannot. He has manda 2, which only he can use. This manda is a superior version to the original manda, with greater speed, strength, agility and size and with that would beat the hydra techniques imo

i wasnt considering Edo, to dont see them resorting str8 to using Edo and w/o Edo Oro would have the upper-hand (until i see more from Kabuto). Also, but its safe to say they both had Madara in their possession, so I'll exclude him. Therefore, I'll consider 1st and 2nd vs Itachi and Nagato. Oro as we've seen uses his Edo differently than Kabuto, but its a simple task of not fully controlling them. Oro could observe this (he'll evil chuckle) and resort to using it the same way IMO and we know Oro gets involved himself while using Edo.

Afterall Kabuto is combination of himself and Oro. Further he has already surpassed orochimaru like for example: He has perfected Edo tensei(well more flexibility and less binding or may be not) improved the strength of Oro's favorate snake manda(or what was his name?? Hmm hmm) and he is more snake like than Orochimaru i guess
