Well they did Dragonball Evolution, and while I watched that I was crying inside for many reasons. It was shocking how they changed bad it was. I think Kishi knows better he would never ever ever EVER agree to do a Movie like that.

Seriously, most anime Live Action movies have gone down the drain; Dragonball Z and Avatar: TLA are just two examples.

IF they hire a great director, then it might work. I recommend Chris Nolan However, my theory is that to make a good Naruto live action movie, you would have to give it a dark theme, even though it's aimed for children; something like the Dark Knight.

Dark theme = Orochimaru as the villain. Perfect.

Seriously, I love Nolan movies and Dark knight but Naruto just won't go along with a dark theme to me. Kishi never gave that edge to the series really.

Frankly, if they wanna do it big, I'm afraid it might turn out to be disastrous.

What I'd suggest if they really wanna capitalize on Naruto popularity and make something that turns out good and sincere towards Naruto fans, then they should take good talented unknown Japanese actors.

We already saw the result of taking mix of Canadian-American actors in DBE :sy:

Something like this would be awesome but with a good extended plot.



Zabuza-Haku Arc or Pain Invasion Arc are two arcs that could translate into good movies in my eyes. Though I'd prefer to see Orochimaru as villain if someday there were to be a Live Action movie.

Actually, I kinda' had an outline for a live action movie. It's quite dark, if I do say so myself. But I guess it'll be difficult whatsoever the story is. Complications like converting a Japanese story into a Western one. DBE was horrible :|

Goku, a teenager in high school... my goodness. Let's hope they leave us in peace and not bring out a sequel. Though I'm interested to see what Warner Bros. has planned for Bleach

Pain's Invasion would make an awesome film... mainly because of all the destruction xD But the problem is, it just jumps right into the middle of the entire Naruto story. Very confused, people will be D:
