Well...we don't know if that small snake was actually him or not, but either way, that small snake died, got burned. His real body was sealed though.

Its quite possible for Oro to come back. Heres why.

Where is Oro?
In Itachi's sealing sword.

Where is the sealing sword?
Sasuke's susanoo.

Who wants Sasuke?
Kabuto.

Who can bring Oro back?
Kabuto, IF he could ever get Sasuke.

actually itachi still has his sealing sword....edo itachi used it to seal nagato remember? dont think sasuke can have it at the same time. plus im pretty sure its linked to itachi's susanoo...sasuke doesnt have itachi's susanoo. just because he has itachi's eyes doesn't mean he has itachi's susanoo, it looks like its different for every person. and sasukes doesnt have the sword or shield, and it doesnt really look like itachi's either. rather what im trying to say is the sword and shield are somehow linked to itachis body, not his eyes.

Here is my theory i was Reading in the narutopedia wiki about Kabuto and his new found power and well from the following chunks of information

Kabuto met with Naruto, and revealed that he had integrated some of Orochimaru's remains into his body, hoping to surpass his former master, but was also slowly being taken over by them. Now Orochimaru is struggling to possess Kabuto, which in turn has caused Kabuto to look more like Orochimaru.

and also

Kabuto, in particular, took Orochimaru's remains and integrated them into his own body, and, though they tried to take him over at first, he eventually mastered Orochimaru's powers, and grew into a serpentine like creature, just like his former master.

its fair to say that orochimaru is still here with us i mean sasuke absorbed orochimaru but when he was really weakened by itachi he was able to escape the same could be true for kabuto if kabuto is weakened to a bad enough point orochimaru may be able to escape and take over kabuto's body .


i LIKE THE IDEA OF OROCHIMARU PULLING all the strings on all these current events from the shadows he is still influencing current events through kabuto and that scroll that was found by suigetsu . Orochimaru is the true bad guy here

Orochimaru wanted 2 things to be immortal and to discover all jutsu's He wanted sasuke's body because sasuke was young and powerful and had the sharingun through what we have learned through current events orochimaru knew that the sharingun eventually evolves after going through mangeyko and eternal mangeyko sharingun to the rinnegan Which lets the user use all 5 chackra natures and create basically any jutsu all through that he would learn all jutsu's which would lead to the secret of immortality ( Yes he had a way but it was a temporary solution having to find a new body every 3 or soo years )

I'm pretty sure Orochimaru's body wasn't sealed. If it was, the cells Kabuto implanted in himself wouldn't have worked.

His mind was sealed in the totsuka jar in an endless drunken slumber. His body is free to do whatever it wants.

That said, he might find a way back, Kabuto is one of the more competent ninja in the series. Orochimaru is a better villain then Tobi. Tobi's just unhappy that's following some nihilistic plan to end the world (the jury is still out on whether the plan he's following is Madara's or his own at this point).

Would be way cool to have Oro come back as the villain for the next arc. Orochimaru was immortal, and brilliant, I hope he isn't gone from the series forever.

Orochi is gone folks sasuke absorbed his spirit and kabuto his DNA. Itachi sealed his soul and the DNA is corrupting kabuto's body. Think of it like a tumor, it's just spreading and consuming him, in the end it won't be kabuto or orochi and that new character will be more dangerous than either one of them.

I always taught oro was gone until recently when i saw that scroll,it got me thinking that what if his soul was still in sasuke awaiting his awakining by sasuke unleashing the powers in the scroll and just take over sasuke and all his powers return through scroll then bcm the final villian

Kage and S rank are now low next to What Madara,Tobi, Sasuke and Naruto have become,if the Manga were to go on to a new chapter new series, their be need of new classifications and new limits on the level of a Kage to balance what is happening now.
