what could itachi do ? wither he had to assassin his clan mates or he had to join them.... in both the case he had to kill people.. he was destined to be hated yet he struggled.... he could have escaped his village but he did not cause he loves his village more than anything

I would just like to point out that Itachi was a true shinobi, who gave his life for his village and younger brother Sasuke. I can understand why it would be hard to forgive him given that he failed in a sense cause sauske went rogue.

IF Itachi didn't kill his entire clan then a war would have ensured (something he wanted to prevent at all costs), his self-sacrifice means he wanted to give sauske a future and keep the uchiha reputation. So yeah i can forgive him

If the reason for that inexcusable is because Itachi failed.... How couldn't you forgive someone, who failed. Every single people have made mistakes in Manga and in real life. You shouldn't forgive anyone, even yourself.

If itachi didnt do it the whole black ops squad would have and they would have killed his brother...It was the only way to save his brother. It wasnt Naruto or Minato and Naruto is not that smart he would not have found a peaceful solution he'd stubbornly try to accept everyones hate. ^ he's just being a badass and massacering your own clan can kinda **** somebody up so maybe also he wants to show Kakashi the true strength of his power - for funsies. Was the Uchiha clan coup plan all just a lie by Danzo and company to get the sharingan and whatnot?
