-What is raiton/lightning?
Lighting release is one of the five basic element jutsu's, that give the user, lighting fast speed/piercing damage, in doing this the user has increase their chakra though high frequency vibrations.

-Explain to me raiton in the narutoverse.
Raiton is used in the Narutoverse, by ninjas of different hidden villages, it is mainly used for combat, it can cause quite a lot of damage and leaves your target unable to move and leave them vulnerable to a finishing move.

-Explain raiton in the real world.
Lighting in the real world, is mainly seen in storms lighting bolts can cause damage, electric discharge from cloud to cloud accompanied by the emission of light.

-Give me the elemental strengths and weaknesses of raiton.
Strengths; Lighting is strong against earth, since with earth, lighting can easily break the ground apart. Another strengths, would be if you use real lighting with your ration chakra, since it's becomes way more powerful.
Weakness; Lighting is weak against wind, well since wind is a natural electrical insulator.

-Name me three notable raiton users and raiton jutsu.

How I would use it;
-Gather up some ration chakra, manipulate my ration chakra into small static bolts and send for the attack so it would shock my target and I could follow up with a stronger jutsu -

RP uses for this jutsu

Good uses would be just to shock your target for a few seconds, also you could combine it with a D rank water jutsu to to power the attack up to a C-rank level jutsu.

What can it counter effectively

The jutsu may be able to counter most D-rank earth jutsus.

When would be your ideal time to use this

Against earth type jutsu, since earth is weak against lighting

When should you not use this

You shouldn't use this against any wind type jutsu since wind is a natural electrical insulator.

-I would start by gather a fair amount of raiton chakra, then concentrate the fuiton chakra into one of my hands, and I would slam my hand on the ground, in doing so, causing a surge of lighting to spread across the ground.-

RP uses for this jutsu

Good uses would be to shock them using this jutsu and then use a follow up attack, also this jutsu would be great if used with water, since water conducts electricity and makes the attack a lot stronger.

What can it counter effectively

A C-rank+ wind jutsu would be able to make this jutsu not very effective.

When would be your ideal time to use this

Against earth type jutsu, since earth is weak against lighting.

When should you not use this

You shouldn't use this against any wind type jutsu since wind is a natural electrical insulator, and pretty much makes the lighting jutsu ineffective.

-I would start by gathering a small amount of raiton chakra, and then I would send it to my hands, after doing that, I would hit my enemy with my hands/fists making sure I have manipulated my raiton chakra into ration, then I will continue to hit my enemy with a electric field shield which in the end covers there body.-

RP uses for this jutsu

Good uses would be to use it, since it covers the enemies body so it may stop them for enough time to follow up with a stronger move.

What can it counter effectively

A C-rank+ wind jutsu would be able to make this jutsu not very effective. It is also short range so it couldn't do much if your enemy is at a distance.

When would be your ideal time to use this

Against earth type jutsu, since earth is weak against lighting.

When should you not use this

You shouldn't use this against any wind type jutsu since wind is a natural electrical insulator, and pretty much makes the lighting jutsu ineffective, and if your enemy is mid/long range away since this jutsu is short range..
