You guys might not like Sakura but she isn't a waste of ink. She provides motivation for Naruto in many of the beginning arcs of the story. He wouldn't be where he is today without that. Technically, the most pointless character is Tenten. I can't think of a single moment in the manga that she had an impact on the story at all. Shino would be a close second though since the only time he has done anything for the story was when he fought Kankuro to stop him from getting in the way of bringing down Gaara. Despite that, Shino is still one of my favourites

Thank you for being one of the few people who actually think! Sakura may be annoying and I dont like her too much either but it is so bloody obvious that the story wouldnt have been as it is without her! Not because she is such a deep character but because of her relationship with Naruto and Sasuke.

Tenten: "Imma throw kunai at you and win AW DAMMIT." That's about all she has done.

Hinata: "Naruto-kun, I...I..." 95% of her dialogue in the series...
