well who remembers what the thirds farthers name was....anybody SASUKE, thats who sasuke uchiha is named after, and wh remembers what team the third was on....the second hokages wich means it possible for the third to have been able to see the first hogake at least as a child....im tired and spitting out random theorys hope they go somewhere

Very possible but i thought it was Kyuubi's chakra that he felt not Tobi's

Im at the point where almost anything/anyone is a possibility to be tobi(common sense answers nothing like sakura or kiba or OBITO -___-)

Agreed, like two pages after the one in the OP an Anbu comes and tells the third that the Kyubi appeared and Hiruzen replies "I know"

I read the manga! And I do believe the Third Hokage felt Tobi's chakra, because that was before Tobi summoned Kurama!!
And he didn't get up, and run outside right away, because he must've of felt a familiar chakra, but shouldered off, because he didn't believe it!!

Actually...wait a minute...I read it again, and The Third did run out, because he was already to fight. He mustv'e felt Kurama's chakra.

But wait..ARRGH!! haha, I guees we'll find out! :rei:

Before tobi summons the 9 tails right when he enters the area, the third hokage feels his aura or presence and recognizes it but puts away the thought bcz it seems impossible. Now remember we've seen lots of things in naruto that borderlines impossible, so perhaps the identity of tobi or at least that man 16 years ago lies in the past, like first or second hokage past.

Hiruzen was referring to the chakra of the Kyuubi. Not Tobi.

The Kyuubi is a mass of chakra that reflects hate and malice. Even Kakashi felt something was off.

It was just Kurama. It admitted that is was a "living manifestation of malevolence", and people always felt its chakra to be rather foul and dark.

Yes most likely he felt the Kyuubi's chakra! I mean how are u not going to notice that!!! As for Tobi's identity that's still up in the air as much as anything unknown in Naruto! I'm personally banking on Izuna, Madara's brother. Which might explain why u only ever saw him with one sharingan before he took one of Negato's rinnegans. If he was Izuna he'd have some room in his eye socket holes after Madara took them!!!

^^ the man speaks the truth! while I believe tobi is somehow madara, I think he was talking about kurama in your link
