They can so do a serious tobi. Like just make him have ACTUAL combos that are legit, then as a awakening, he can do that sharingan mode of his and play like that. Simple fix. Gofy Tobi is a joke...literally. I hate how they put Him and Karin in there, Karin should be support only, and Anko, Shizune, OR Kurenai should be playable, they are so much more worthy. Its still irks me to think that they rather keep Karin playable...but ignore fan requests to have the others support only.

Good news: its what we've all been hopeing for that's right you guessed it serious tobi will be playble in his form from 16 years ago! ( When he fought minato) for scan go to sayian island.

Naruto Generations Madara Playable (Rumor):​

UPDATE: The scan related to this post has been released. Masked Madara is playable, the real Madara Uchiha is shown in a cutscene.

There are somethings in life that get a fan excited beyond belief. This next rumor may very well be it! According to the reliable Japanese blog TaleTaleSource, the next Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will confirm the playable status of Madara! Now before we get too excited remember this is a rumor. Additionally, Madara doesn’t necessarily mean Madara Uchiha, the crazy powerful co-founder of the Hidden Leaf Village, it could mean Serious Tobi (also known as Masked Madara).

Actually Masked Madara is specifically mentioned, but what makes us suspect Madara Uchiha is that from our understanding (and we could be completely wrong and just very hopeful) is that the Japanese blog also mentions the First Hokage and “The Legend of Madara”. If you recall, it was Madara Uchiha who fought the First Hokage, not Serious Tobi. It is however, also mentioned in the rumor Masked Madara (Serious Tobi) and Minato’s stories will intersect, just like in the anime/manga.

The Naruto Generations story mode will be told from the perspective of 10 characters. If this rumor is true, including Madara, we now know 7 of the characters who will be the focus of the game’s story (Minato, Kakashi, Itachi, Naruto, Sasuke, Killer Bee being the other 6)
Again, this is all rumor until officially confirmed by pictorial evidence. And let us stress we might just be wishfully thinking about Madara Uchiha here on Saiyan Island, but it’s tough to believe “The Legend of Madara” is complete without the actual man himself.​

The Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show is currently underway in Paris, France and one of the great games on hand is our beloved Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations! As you can see CyberConnect2 president Hiroshi Matsuyami is on hand, interacting with fans and playing the game.

Additionally, the photo below shows how the character selection will work in terms of support characters. It seems as if players first chose their character and in that instance, support characters are not selectable. Once the player has selected their main character of choice, those 15 boxes with the the swirl in them turn into a selectable support character.

Naruto Generations: Masked Madara Confirmed Playable:​

A brand new scan from Shonen Jump of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations has been released! There was a rumor of Madara being playable, and well, that rumor is now confirmed!

It isn’t Madara Uchiha like we were hoping it to be, but instead the Serious Tobi (also known as Masked Madara). This is the iteration of Serious Tobi from 16 years ago when he fought Minato during Naruto’s birth. His inclusion makes perfect sense as the Naruto Shippuden anime will have a hour long episode with him this week! We’re pretty happy with him being confirmed, but we would have still liked the real Madara Uchiha. Oh well, maybe in Storm 3!

EDIT: Madara Uchiha is in the scan as well, at the bottom left. However, it looks like an animated cutscene from the Naruto anime/manga in which the story of Madara Uchiha vs the Hashirama (The First Hokage) was first told.

If the alternate versions of Tobi, Naruto (rasenshuriken and 9 tails fox), Sasuke (kirin and chidori true spear), Minato (jonin and hokage), and Sage Naruto (hokage) outfit count as separate characters than we're already at 75 characters.

Throw: chains

Jutsu: phaseing threw stuff

Ultimate: eiether space time combo or summoning the nine tails nine tails then tries to crush you with its hand.

wait one second guys look at tobis item on the top ( up arrow button) its his goofy tobi mask :| this could mean one of many things.

one: this isn't a diff chacter and its just a new custom you can swcth to in mid battle ( like hiruzens hokage hat and danzos eye)

two: that how you activeate something maybe awakening

3: it could just be a diff chacter and that mask makes him do something or it just changes the mask.

we have no idea yet lets hope its not just a custom change

I'm going to go with number 3, because I doubt those items can do something like what you said in number 1 and 2.

This Tobi, in the outfit he fought Minato in, is probably just an alternate costume of a Serious Tobi (separate character from Goofy Tobi).
