Sasuke's Lightning Nature

So, as always I was reading Naruto,the one where Sasuke fights Deidara, and came to thinking. He managed to diffuse the C4 Nano-Bombs thanks to his Lightning Nature & Chidori, which unless I am mistaken, was taught to him by Kakashi. The Chidori, not the Nature.

So what I'm saying is that Sasuke only lived because he had 'That' Nature type which allowed him to learn Chidori. Thanks Kakashi

What do you think?

Might be worth adding:
1: I am not hating on Sasuke, I think it's legit that he had that as he was taught it.
2: Do you think Sasuke had lightning skills before that?
3: Would Sasuke have learnt lightning Blade/variation from another?
4: I don't want people saying things like "Naruto would have died if it weren't for Kyuubi etc, that's not the point I'm making.

Sasuke is basically a fire type like most other Uchihas.. He learnt the lighting which i guess was his second most powerful element.

no c u have to admit that sasuke is very skilled ninja in case Kakashi have't teach him...i bet somebody else would have..!!! plus he surpassed Kakashi way back then...!!!

I think Oro wouldve taught him how to use it since they trained non stop, but Kakashi teaching him first gave him 3 years of experience which of course aided in his victory.

Orochimaru didn't have lightning Nature.

no telling if sasuke would have learned he could use lightning without kakashi.

Sasuke had an affinity for Lightning. But I don't think he'd have learn Chidori as only Kakashi knew it. Kakashi taught him Chidori because he knew Sasuke was Lightning Natured and also had Sharingan to see incoming attacks.

Again, Orochimaru didn't know Chidori. Only kakashi did.

Sasuke is VERY skilled. Kakashi was the only person in Narutoverse who knew Chidori.

Sasuke copied...he didn't learn it....remember he can't use the lightning or any of it's variants without the sharingan......If I remember correctly, when Naruto and Sai got hit with the Chidori Nagashi (Lightning Discharge), he was in 3 tome then...which kinda proves that he can't use it without it.

Oro didn't seem to know of any lightning techs, or at least he didn't show he did...So I don't think he would've learned it anyway......just sayin......

Agreed that Kakashi is the only one who could teach him chidori, however I believe his affinity or one of them is lightning so he would have learned some form of lightning jutsu along the way....wasn't it said that all jounin had to know at least 2 affinities? Can't remember, think it was back when Kakashi was teaching naruto how to use his wind affinity.

U can use chidori without sharingan

Tru but minato stated that because it's so fast and blinding its open to counters since the user can't see them coming, which the sharingan allows u to do that which is why Kakashi said that obitos eye helped him complete it.

That is true. From what I've seen of Sasuke though, he doesn't seem to look for new Jutsu, but rather makes his existing ones stronger. Maybe he wouldn't have tried to get Lighting or even develop it. Maybe he would have focused solely on Fire style.
That said, I think Sasuke's Nature was Lighting and he simply had a strong affinity for Fire as all Uchiha do.

I agree to a certain point.....yeah he hasn't learned any new affinities. I don't think he even tried. He pretty much took the basis, (Chidori), and made all the variants of it, as you said stronger. Does that mean he had a Natural Affinity to Lightning just because he took so well to it? No, remember he trained to use Chidori because he lacked the speed to make it. Frankly I was thoroughly impressed that him being at that age at the Chunnin exams with 2 affinities...but that's the product of hard work....

Yep, this is true. But he diffused the Bombs by thrusting his Chidori blade current through himself.

I'm not sure if any other lighting style attack would have had the power to attack each of the nano-bombs. I think Chidori was needed. Otherwise he'd have just used any old lightning charge.

You don't have to have the affinity yourself to teach someone. I'm pretty sure the basic principle is the same all around and I'm sure it's something that Orochimaru studied anyway. Kakashi taught Naruto how to use wind.

Sasuke second nature affiliation is lightning that coincidently was also kakashi's.
Regardless, he wouldve discovered this under oro and trained to master his element, with or without oro. To my knowledge kakashi only thought him chidori, yet after we saw sasuke he had about 10 or more lightning based techniques which he either discovered himself or with a bit of help from oro.

Sasuke's Nature is Lightning. Not because he took to it, because he was born with it...unlike maybeline lol
