LOL I made this thread fool :flaw:; the fact is you FAIL to understand the whole point. EDO TENSEI creates an unfair NUMERICAL advantage. It takes SKILL to master the jutsu but in battle is the person using the JUTSU as powerful of all his summons. NO. Can Oro use mokuton because Hashirama can. NO.

Anyone can use edo tensei if the master it. if that was the case ANYONE could beat ANYONE. sakura with edo tensei beats kakashi. konohamaru with edo tensei beats killer B. Do you UNDERSTAND the point we are making on why edo tensei is not a fair REFLECTION of oro's FIGHTING abilities.

Orochimaru wins this. Orochimaru hasn't shown us all that hes got but Jiraiya hasn't shown us anyway to beat Orochimaru. I think Orochimaru is a little stronger than Jiraiya.

Edo tensei allows for multiple summonings. I'm talking easily 5+ ninjas. That doesn't reflect his true fighting abilities in battle; OTHER ninjas are fighting for him. Why is that so hard for you to understand.U_U

You don't know how many Edo's Orochimaru has. We've only known him to have 3 and of those 3 only 2 work. So it'd actually be 3 versus 3. But still 3 versus 1 since Orochimaru has to do all the work to make them fight. They are puppets just like with Sasori but with jutsu. Even with edo though I think Jiraya could still win. Orochimaru wants to learn every jutsu, that doesn't mean he masters them all though. It's like Kakashi, he knows many jutsu, but he only uses like 10 moves at the most regularly.

We've also seen that numerical advantage isn't everything anyway.

Jiraiya. Orochimaru hasn't really had a chance to showcase what he can do without using Edo Tensei. Jiraiya took on the 6 paths with no knowledge and put up one hell of a fight, so much to have them say if Jiraiya knew their secret he could have won.

Not really. Cause you can look back at people like Kakashi who only took on 2, and had help, and had knowledge, but still lost. You can look at Naruto who had knowledge, and although he competed, he STILL lost(til 9 tails kicked in, obviously). It's a HUGE compliment saying someone could beat the 6 paths, knowledge or not.

TBH I initially went straight for Jiraiya but after furrther thought i really wasn't sure.

Not really fair to leave out Edo Tensei when its a part of his arsenal.Unless you are admitting that Jiraiya stands no chance against a fully equipped orochimaru which I disagree with since they are close to equals (Oro still got the edge;proven by their past battles).

you mean the poison in blood that paralyses the body? That took way too long to take effect when he faced Sasuke even with the LarGE amount of blood he was exposed to and only Oro's true form can emit that poison and that true form wont last long in front of Jiraiya to poison him. Jiraiya inhibited by drugs from Tsunade could hold a large Snake with Swamp of the Underworld, he can hold Large Oro, Manda without the handicap then end him and Oro's eight headed snake tech is just as big as a two full Susanoo, not so big.
