dude he was'nt 99%blind.even if he was stil he had sharingan to do susanoo and other tech,bt i thnk it iz imposible to do sharngan techs wthot sharingan.and also isnt dat tobi's tech whch make hm like smethng untouchable a sharingan tech and i thnk he was usng it against minato

He was like Borderline blind the whole anime focus's around itachi losing his eye sight, When itachi and Kisame attack konoha "Let us retreat i have used my eyes to much", " Itachi don't over do it" and when he fights sasuke " I need your eyes so my fading light becomes eternal" And throughout that fight he constantly holds his eyes in pain. My point is he is basicly blind. Even if you have like 1% left you can use Sasono Thats why he was in such bad shape as he walked towards sasuke at the end of the fight and his sasono slowly begins to fade as he drops to the ground

I think for that sort of space time tech you need the sharingan, just like uchiha shisui could ! so it could be izuna but izuna was blind as you stated , but from where got izuna the sharingan then?? danzo had one eye of shisui and itachi . obito's other eye was crushed and kakashi has the other one. I like your theory that's its izuna, and it would be great if he was izuna.. But their are still to many questions about tobi that has te be answered before we know who tobi really is !
So for now, we call him just tobi.. hate the name though , for a villain his name sucks !

firstly u cant know if he read them well or not cause minato was using the ftg so the sharingan wont see the teleportations
secondly tobi never took off the mask he only stated that he was madara so thats why minato passed on the same thing also because tobis powers are on another level

Yeah this is true he did using flying thunder god but he didn't only use that he do move without it sometimes. But yeah it wouldn't be as useful as in a normal fight you are right :/ And Tobi's powers wernt that great at that point to be honest i think a few people could have taken him out. All head did was telelport constantly :c Although thats a good jutsu its offensive side has floors like having to become solid, naruto could of probably beaten that Tobi, the new one atm probably not.

But the massacre was after the battle whit minato so their he hasn't got al those sharingans. Certainly uchiha's died in the past but then your're looking very far...
and if so then you can say that every uchiha that ever lived could possibly be tobi !!! they all are capable of stealing eyes ...

Well i was just reading a thread that said tobi could be Madara's brother and this actually makes more sense after the last couple of chapters. Here are some reasons why i think this

- Madara knows tobi to some extent

- Tobi was aware of the sacred tablet under the uchiha

- Tobi would have a motive to exact revenge on the Uchiha for betraying his bother

- Why if Kabuto found DNA for the best shonobi in the world could he not find Izuna's? Why did he not ressurrect him aswell. I don't think DNA of him would be that hard to find.

- Tobi had identical hair to him when he first met Kisame and Kisame reconized him as Uchiha madara which is a pretty close guess.

- Izuna was blind, which is a problem but as we know he has a Jar of sharigans and did you notice that 13 years before the massacre when he first fought minato we didn't see his sharingan eyes? I think this is due to the fact he was blind at the time and did not regain his eye sight until around the the Uchiha Massacre where he then transplanted them some from the other dead Uchiha's

- Tobi is intimidated by Madara like a younger brother to a older brother

- Tobi knows a extreme amount about the Sharingan which someone like Izuna or Madara would also know but im not sure if he is aware of how to create a rinnengan i think he just stole that of Madara's corpes at some point

Ya him being blind during his fight with Minato is crazy. He did use his sharingan to take control of the fox and he was spamming his space time tech everywhere. It has been well hinted at that this tech requires his right sharingan.

I honestly think that everyone has identified Tobi as Madara because he is in fact using Madara's body, but he's someone else's soul in Madara's body.

And as for him being freaked out by Kabuto's Edo Madara? Tobi freaked out because it was always part of his plan to revive Madara and hoped no one would ever find out that Madara died. He knew that as soon as Kabuto released that information about Madara having died, his whole plan would be thrown out of wack. It wasn't fear for his brother, it was fear for his cover being blown.

Umm i think your a bit lost my friend.Hiruzen is konohamaru's father that in which means Hiruzen's second son is konohamaru's brother.The obito theory is just plan retarded based on the eveidence that the God damn time-lines don't even match.Also why would Tobi allow himself to be crushed by a boulder when he can phase out.Also why would he give his sharnigan away.

guys all people guess tobi is from uchihaa clan but i think he is from sarutobi clan. here are my points
1) i think like itachi uchihaa killed all of his clan members by the order of hiruzen and konoha elders , similarly isnt it possible sm1 form senzu clan felt it bad and unwise and tried to kill all the senzu and konaha members ?????
2)hiruzen sarutobi had two childrens @ asuma sarutobi and other is still unknown in manga
3) we know konohamaru is of the grandson of hiruzen but why isnt konohamaru's father name mentioned yet in manga isnt it confusing. !!!!!!!!!
4) tobi knows every thing about konoha , even when he attacked kushina during her pregnency he knew about position of anbu black ops , and the seal which binds 9tails and he never attacked the 3rd hokage, may be its all beacuse he is from inside of konoha elite group !!!!!!!
5)madara knows tobi for sure but he dont trust his plan , may be beacuse he wasnt uchihaa at all.
6)only madara got 1st hokage cell and no 1 has even bleeded hashirama so how can tobi , if he was uchihaa got the 1st cell unless he is from 1st own bloodline
7)finally if istn it possible xxxxxx sarutobi (tobi) collected eyes from dead uchihaa and transplanted into him to show respect to uchihaa and get powerful
8)and the name itself tells that xxxxx sarutobi , here last word is tobi so he took name of tobi from his surname ????O.O

I'm confused. Are you actually trying to suggest that Tobi is Konohamaru's father?

I know its far fetched but look at the facts.

He has knowledge of the sage and talks like he knows him specifically his abilities
and how he created. He knows a lot about how he sealed and where he sealed the 10 tails and he is the only person who knew about the 10 tailed. (although this may be on the uchiha crest you need a renningan to read if it is)

He is on equal grounds with Madara. And dislikes the Senju.

Tobi is extremely old! (remember he tries to take off his mask.wrinkles!)

And I think that he met with Madara at one point and they planned their attack against the first so they could gain the DNA and madara died later from injuries or free will (Tobi is going to become 10 tailed jinkirikki and use s6p ability to bring him back to life)

He says he gave the rinnengan to Nagato and He is knowledgable on how to use it.
He has a massive amount of chakra.


I doubt this myself if you want troll and prove me wrong but its just a theory i wanted to state!

I persoanlly don't think Tobi is the older brother the thank you is for having the balls to make a thread like this when you just joined Naruto Base. It's not impossible that Tobi is the older brother I just doubt he is.

Tobi is old, but people in Naruto don't live forever. It's hard to believe that Tobi is the older son of the sage because he has wrinkles...

Tobi is not the older son, he wouldn't have pretended to be Madara. He wouldn't have been forced to join Kabuto when Kabuto showed him the 6th coffin. The elder son had the Sages eyes which means he would of had the rinnegan as well. But Tobi was seen with two normal sharingan.

Elder son wouldn't pretend to be some one that's a descendant of himself. That's like The white fang pretending to be Kakashi, Minato pretending to be Naruto. Get my point?

You are looking at this from the wrong perspective. What you should really do is ask yourself why Tobi was pretending to be Madara. When you figure that out you can apply it to your own question.

Assuming that Elder son was some godly figure who was several times stronger than Madara is terribly wrong.

P.S. Nowhere was it said that Elder son had rinnegan. It says he had sages eyes or his spiritual powers. If you look at Elder son's picture you will see that he doesn't have rinnegan but something that is similiar to it.
