I'm sorry if some brought this up already, but I was just glancing through some chapters when I noticed something, take a look at a few pages first
what do these pages show us? it shows that tobi and zetsu are close, and that they have been working together for quite sometime, and that zetsu even knows tobi's interest in sasuke.
alright and take a look at a few of these, I'll explain these later
for now, look at these, but don't focus on the dialogue, it's something else I want to show
and these, you can read the dialogue in these, and the first one here is the most important page
this one is after the zetsu says that
and FINALLY this
alright, from the first pages we see, it shows us the secrets tobi and zetsu share together, it even shows that they have been working together for a long time to have made 100,000 white zetsus.
we then see that nagato didn't know the truth about itachi, but this was the supposed leader of akatsui, but tobi didn't tell him anything about itachi.
okay, we now see tobi talking to sasuke, we all know he tells sasuke that he helped itachi slaughter his clan and such, but my point is that zetsu is not in the room, yeah I know this was their private time, but I just want to still point out that fact.
alright, in the next pages, itachi tells sasuke that he's not the only one who took part in the massacre, but there's something important we're missing, he did all this in a genjutsu, as zetsu says, they haven't made a move. zetsu couldn't see anything.
later itachi further explains madara's involvement with him and his clan. it appears that itachi is again doing this in a genjutsu, it can be assumed by when itachi makes sasuke see things in the past and then starts talking crazy, after a while it is obvious it ended. did zetsu see any of this? it was never stated either way, BUT, because of the genjutsu that itachi put him in earlier, and zetsu couldn't see what was going on, it can be implied that he didn't see any of this either.
and the last part shows that zetsu definitely didn't know all about itachi, even ZETSU?! this is like tobi's main man, but he obviously kept him in the dark intentionally, zetsu didn't know the slightest thing about itachi, my point to this was that tobi has kept things from not only nagato but even zetsu.
the bigger picture is that zetsu doesn't know that tobi slaughtered the uchiha clan, how could he? there's no way, because if zetsu thinks that itachi murdered his clan and then joined akaktsui, which he does, because he didn't know the truth behind itachi, then it's very likely that he thinks itachi mmurdered his clan on his own, and then joined, since everyone who don't know the truth think this also.
and on that last part where itachi went crazy talking to sasuke, he NEVER brung up that madara helped him slaughter the clan, that was before when zetsu stated that they haven't moved an inch. this whole scene is the only evidence that zetsu may have known, but even this is cloudy, the only thing that's proven is that tobi didn't tell his main guy the truth about itachi.
so why is he deceiving tobi? if zetsu doesn't know about the massacre of the clan, what does this mean? remember edo madara may also not know, my point is that zetsu's loyalty may be with the real madara, even kabuto said that he's not sure if tobi is sticking to the real plan, and edo madara himself said he's not sure what tobi is planning.
