lol no... a lot of third world countries can't move forward because of their own government. I come from a third world country so I would know. Most people in third world countries governments are the ones that ruin the country because of greed.

People slam the U.S. cause they can. Americans even do it. The difference is that us everyday Americans are more interested into the going ons in our country. Most citizens of other nations find it easier to place blame on America rather than look into their own country problems.

Also, USA, has a vast news media network, so every thing that Americans do is let out into the open for the world to see and we are scrutinized for it.

The one thing i truly hate about Americans is that most of them consider US & A the most superiour counrty in the world. It's not "god save the world" it's "god save America". Americans selfish attitude disturbs me.

Ok and one more thing. My sis is in the US now, she thought it was really awesome, Americans are very open in the social life. That is a thing i miss in my country.

I understand that USA has some Laws that are disagreeable and the mentality of Americans shown in the Media gives America a bad look, but we already have Americans on NB bashing America.
So why is it that NB members from other countries think its okay to slam America?

I understand the need for a foreigners opinion and all that.

I can't remember 1 American member on here talk shit about another country.
I can remember countless times where NB members from other countries talk shit about America.

*I don't have a problem with that, but it seems some members(non-American) take it upon themselves to start the hate spread.

People bash on America out of jealousy and fear. For the most part, America is the best country in the world. Then there's things like education, poverty, crime rates, prison rates, health care, social programs, and capitalism that really set us back.

Well I would like to point out something you say in your post.

What country does not think itself superior to every other country? Why does everyone think that America is the only one?

Secondly, you say we are selfish, ok I will give you that one. It isn't really that we are selfish though, we don't want what everyone else has just because they have it, we just want more. Selfishness is not the same as greed. Avarice is our vice.

I would like to point out though that while we may be greedy, we also donate hundreds if not thousands of times the amount of money in charities to foreign countries. When natural disasters happen world wide what happens? We send millions, or even billions of dollars in aid. That isn't even counting that monetary aid we give to countries every year that we are allied with, that isn't charity based. If you look at the numbers, it is humbling for other countries to see just how much more America gives.

So you can call us selfish, but if we were really selfish what we would do is start making countries like China stop artifically inflating their currency so the exchange rate screws us on our debts, then we would stop sending money to other countries, and withdraw any and all support given to them, and lastly we would actually enforce debts to us that other countries have.

I mean when was the last time America made any country pay its debt to the US? I'm pretty sure we gave all countries involved in WWII a mulligan and let their debts slide.

In my honest opinion I think most countries hate us because they look upon us and see more wealth, and it creates a classic case of the haves and have-nots. The other countries that hate us, see the US as a tyrannical superpower bullying other countries into doing what we want. What you fail to realize is that we honestly don't give a shit about who rules your country or what your laws or your beliefs. The only time we really intervene in things is when lives are being lost.

America has its faults, but so do other countries, attacking us isn't going to make your country a better place.

I don't mind the country, just the laws and social rules that come with it. I'm from Michigan by the way.

1. You can only do ALL the fun shit when you turn 21 (it's more fun to do it under 21, but STILL!!!).

2. In America, you HAVE to have either/and/or Money, a car, play a sport, or have some social status to gain respect from women and men alike. In Sweden, I could pick up a nice looking girl at the bar at 18 and take her home on the bus at four in the morning roll-over drunk. I'm lucky to be blessed with enough savings and an excellent car for my age, butt he problem comes with.... Why the necessity?

3. In Germany, people work HALF as much and get paid twice as more in favor of spending time with your family. In America, rarely do employers see you as someone with a life of your own. If I had a choice, I'd live in Italy, Dubai, Spain, or Germany. Why is it that other countries either have four times more work or half as much work? I am aware that in other countries you may work day and night for little to no pay, but those countries don't boast about their work ethics like America.

You know that the US first didn't even want to help Europe. In WW2 US was selfish enough to sacrifise the UK and France, etc. In the beginning The US just wanted to prepare their "own" land. But thankfully Chuchill made US reconsider..

Not selfish, just trying to be Neutral. And it wasn't Churchill that made us change our minds, it was the japs who BOMBED Pearl Harbor without notice when we weren't even expecting to join the War. Sure we helped out over in normandy and what not, but our involvement in the war was against the japs. thats why we bombed them back. get your facts right fool. stupid idiots slam America when we got a crap load of problems as it is. Yeah that guy was trying to say America didn't even want to help and that makes us bad? **** that shit. It is amazing how hypocritical people can be. They want our help and then they curse us for sending our troops over and blame us for their problems.

Once other countries start spending even half of what we do in charity and aid to foreign countries then everyone else can come back and say that we don't do enough.
