Choji & The Second Hokage (Not Alot is said about him, other than he started the ninja Cady and was the 2nd Hokage, and some other stuff. Just sayin')

As long as people don't comprehend what near invincibility means (Susanoo holding Yata Mirror and Totsuka Sword) and claim that a certain character who was defeated by Itachi in the Manga can defeat Itachi, Itachi will remain underrated.

I think sakura is the most underated character i mean Her skill in evasion is so great that she could combat one-hundred puppets without even being scratched. Although Chiyo aided Sakura she said that Sakura hardly needed any help. A feat which I doubt even some high level jonin can do.

The problem with that is you're talking as if Itachi has high chakra stamina and can spam susano'o all day. Susano'o drains alot of your chakra. Sure Itachi's Yata mirror with Totsuka sword is invincible but only for a certain amount of time. This is the main point people use when judging who would win if Itachi and Nagato fought.

if is on narutobase for me is minato and is not one of my favs, on the manga i sais shikamaru hi,s oponents never give shit for the dude and when they wake up to the fight the give them selfs in shikamaru game.

Nagato can't out survive Susanoo, he isn't as fast as Minato or Raikage so he can't out run it, he also can't port and shift from reality like Tobi Madara Uchiha can. Also, we don't know how long ultimate Itachi can hold Susanoo (healthy and at the peak of his power) out, he hold Susanoo for an impressive amount of time while being half dead and coughing up liters of blood (vs Sasuke).

He doesnt need to be fast or port about to survive Susanoo. Susanoo is not the ultimate defense, there are better out there. Nagato could just hold out till Itachi drains out of chakra because the longer the user uses Susanoo the users life is also being sucked away or Nagato could just suck the chakra of the Susano itself by using Preta Path.
1. Susanoo with Yata Mirror is the strongest "Ultimate Defence" currently known.
2. Nagato holding out vs Susano? He couldn't hold out even vs the first attack of the Totsuka Sword, open my signature, 1 Shotted and Sealed for eternity, hold out in your dreams lol.
