That could be debated if he was healing himself, fusing, and making the dome at the same time. The anime showed it working pretty fast if thats reliable. Im sure it wasnt a filler

this match is horrible match up for kisame

Minato can do so many things to get out of that water dome

throw kunais

have a seal on some tree near by

summon frogs and minato goes one way the frogs go another and kisame has to pick one

if he picks minato the frogs get out and they reverse summon him outside the dome

if he goes after the frogs, Minato is too fast and will easily escape

and then if minato kisame go at it close combat he puts a seal on him uses FTG and kills him with either a kunai or a rasengan your choice

Both ma favourite characters in Naruto..obviously Minato comes first..ffs chk ma name haha..anyway i think the battle wud purely be decided on speed..yes kisame can absorb chakra, heal himself etc but he has to be able to touch minato for a limited amount of time to do that n sorry but i jus dont see that happening with Minato's ftg n barriers..although i do think his summons r going to be useless against kisame rather advantageous for kisame..

the water dome is all he needs minato can't move very well in water like kisame and his kunais are useless in the water. kismae has water style attacks and in that dome tehre no escape from the water or the water jutsus i say kismae wins.

and we all know ftg doesn't need movement to use just wherever the seals are located and we know minato has a bunch of them in a lot of places for escapes, minato can just teleport somewhere else and return when he finds a chance, but it would be a very difficult one for both. Right now I would go with minato

But Gambunta never fully obeyed Jiraiya. And minato has NEVER used them. If he hasnt shown it it cant be used as scenario, technically.
