i like your theory and it also in my opinion sheds light even more on mine being thar shuisi is tobi, people fighting over hs eyes and having one stolen from him by danzo seems pretty tragic. and he grabbed his arm when talkin about izuna giving madara his eyes. maybe he did that because he knew madara stole it but if he were to say to sasuke that he is madara and he stole his bros eyes that would sound bad lol i think he related to izuna with having your eyes stolen and thats why he grabbed his arm when telling sasuke that story

thing is tobi said to danzo, that he hadnt seen him since the uchiha massacre, and both danzo and tobi had similar plans, (minus using genjutsu) he wanted to unite everyone by defating everyone in a war. (if i remember correctly) nagato wanted to bring about peace by terrorizing everyone, tobi wants to control everyone with genjutsu

If that's the case, why didn't Tobi just implant both rinnegans, don't you see, you need both a sharingan and a rinnegan to complete the plan. When you read the tablet with the rinnegan, it probably tells you to take the sharingan of somebody you love or some shit like that

So, Tobi will be using both eyes (Sharingan and Rinnegan) to mirror the Juubi eyes to complete his "Moon Eye Plan?"

........ and instead of being Senju and Uchiha, is that the reason why he is unable to utilize the Rinnegan such as Madara has?

Never said that he was an uchiha, I said that he is a senju and this is why he cannot deactivate his doujutsu

i agree to this point was like kakashi and besides tobi said as far anyone can remember " when your on war you need a good eye "

i really really really really really doubt its obito...there are similarities yes like his eye missing or whatever but fact is...obito was 13 when he died..he is kakashi's age so the guy we have seen a couple of times behind the mask is obviously older, at least Danzou's age if not older. Obito was like Naruto, so ya only if he was brainwashed somehow and fast forwarded like 30 years it cannot be Obito.
Shisui is sketchy too but the fact he died drowning and he was supposedly as powerful as he was is very very fishy...i mean seems like a shitty way to go when your that good..im not so sure he didnt use some kind of jutsu to fake his death...then again how would itachi and danzou get his eye if he was alive?
Madara-clone shell thing or Izuna make the most sense right now...mainly because the kyuubi associates tobi with madara...and during the attack after naruto birth, kyuubi didnt look too happy and tobi controlled him very easily..im wondering if not tobi didnt take some of Madara's dna and put it in him..could that work? then he (like madara did to gain hashirama's dna) would be able to control the kyuubi and stuff but not actually be madara. If they are the same person then why is it they have two different move sets, and why would Madara need a second one of him running around? Im jsut ready to know and stop all these speculations...

Kishi, via his characters, has conveyed Shisui as a good, noble shinobi. His ideals are the same as Naruto's. Why the hell would he want to throw all that away? Didn't he believe in honor and sacrifice?

Izuna seems like a more convincing and plausible story as to who Tobi really is. I think that maybe Izuna was peer pressured into giving his eyes to his brother, Madara. It was expected and there should have been no doubts. At least of what we have heard so far. Doesn't mean he isn't going to help him but I feel there is some resentment there.

Like someone mentioned before, until we get actual facts from the manga this will just be another theory among the already other compelling ones. But nice job though and way to back up your claims using the manga. Most people just blurt out things but never entice us with details or pretty visuals.

there are always going to be flaws in a theory, though I really don't consider this one of them, because we can only judge his character off that letter, and that isn't enough, those 3 uchiha that itachi beat up obviously didn't know shisui as well as they thought they did, we don't know anything either, we don't know what happaned in his life, we don't know if something dramatic happened at some point in his life, we really don't know his way of thinking or his character, kishi could just be trying to play us, the same he did with itachi, and he used other characters to try and make us think tobi was madara.

Where on this page does it say TOBI obtained senju DNA. It say's Madara obtained senju DNA - we known that Tobi is not Madara

and look at this one, remember Ao says he fought with him ONCE, and look at the picture of shisui when Ao is remembering him, he looks the exact same years later when itachi pictures him, why? is kishi trying to keep us off the trail of his age? we never see an older or younger shisui.

and we don't know what his other eye tech was, in fact, it's been made so far to look as though every mangyeko user has an ability in each eye, but we only know one of shisui's.

and yes itachi supposedly killed him, but pay attention to the words kishi had itachi speak, " I helped him erase his "existence". now why the HECK out of all the things he could have said, he said "existence". heck, he could have just said, " I helped kill him". that's really odd IMO, there's definitely more to shisui that meets the eye.

I also like to add that shisui was a mangyeko user, but yet, we know nothing on how he obtained it. and remember this was something that was very rare for an uchiha.

wow, I didn't pay attention to that, and also, if you continue reading up until the point tobi entered, notice that it just so happens they had Ao leave the room to chase after danzo, he wasn't there when tobi came.

The purpose of having all three eyes is to obtain the ultimate eye for the moons eye. Is this the reason Inzuna ( madaras brother ) willingly gave up his eyes? Same thing applys for shinsui.

Though I dont believe Tobi is Shisui. There's too many things that makes this very difficult to believe. Plus both the Byakugan and the Sharingan can see Chakra. And it would be very strange if no one recognized that Tobi has Shisui's Chakra. In fact, the only one that has been able to recognize Tobi's chakra was the Kyuubi. And that happened after a lifetime of imprisonment. Which in turns means that Tobi must be old enough to have been alive before the Kyuubi was originally imprisoned inside Uzumaki Mito. That happened more than 80 years before current events. I think every one can agree that Shisui was not alive 80+ years ago. And that is but one of a mountain of reasons why Shisui could not possibly be Tobi.

if shisui was working with madara and had hashirama's DNA implanted into him, then he could also have madara's as well, this could explain the fox picking up madara's chakra.
