IF the rinnegan can only be awakened by a sharingan user who has Senju DNA, then it isn't unlikely this was in fact what became the end of Madara to begin with. Actually, he might have known he was going to die by fusing his own dna with that of Harashima. This might be the reason he made such an elaborate plan to bring himself back to life in the first place.

Be reborn, with both his and Harashima's dna, in full power. He'd truly be the next So6p then. Even Kabuto claims he's back beyond his prime as an edo now. It's safe to say that if it was indeed his plan to be reborn with both DNA in order to gain so much power, he would go as far as to purposely die for it.

I am left a little puzzled by something from this. Since a sharingan can turn into rinnengan, do all rinnengan start as sharingan? If not, are rinnengan that start as sharingan more powerful because they have the powers of both sharingan and rinnengan? If yes, how could tobi possibly have so many rinnengans to transplant to people. I don't see it as possible for so many eyes to be evolved enough from sharingan to just hand them out like they are skittles.

also, I don't really see why people are so choked by the idea of sauske getting a rinngengan. I don't like him (or the idea of him being powerful) but the whole series is a big set up for Naruto and Sauske to fight each other in an epic battle at their physical peaks. It just means Naruto will have another major advancement in ability aswell and it will make for much more epic battle.
It will make it that much more satisfying when sauske loses

Tobi is Izuna Uchiha, whenever Kishi gives us the "surprise on top of surprise" spin, the latest surprise is ALWAYS the truth. This IS the real Madara.

Since he knows his own brother well, he immediately knew that this whole thing was Izuna's doing. Kabuto had shown him to Izuna once before he brought him from the coffin, which is why he acted the way he did.

Since Madara said he unlocked the Rinnengan just before his death, it's safe to assume that he achieved this DURING his fight with Hashirama (with years of experience with the EMS already under his belt, he was pushed to his limit during the fight and STILL came out the loser, i.e - "just before my death", he didn't say a month, a year, or a century before my death, he said JUST before XD)

His brother laying dead on the battlefield, Izuna was free to take the Rinnengan and do what he wanted with them. i.e - Give them to Nagato

At that point, being the brother of Madara and possessing the Mangekyo already himself, he was powerful enough. Now the only question that remains is "WHY THE **** DIDN'T IZUNA KEEP THE RINNENGAN FOR HIMSELF WHEN MADARA DIED?!"

Good question. But I believe when someone dies their eyes go dormant for awhile. Simply look at how long Sasuke has been in healing / meditation until Itachi's eyes reactivated.

The eyes were dormant when he took them from his brother, so he found a subject with the necessary traits to make them active. (A Senju descendant aka an Uzumaki). Thus he began his master puppeteer roll in Akatsuki.

You miss one thing. Madara knew about Nagato, and Madara also knew that Nagato has rinnegan. But if he died in battle with Hashirama, there is no way he can knew about Nagato.

I think we are forgetting something important. Even though Madara lost to the 1st Hokage remember when Tobi said he gain the 1st ablility. Maybe thats what happen. An Uchia and a Senju together makes a Rinnegen. Lets not get ahead of ourselves because if Saskue gets the Rinnegen i'll honestly stop watching/reading Naruto and devote my time to Bleach.

Wow.... Madara is really really strong, though, i didnt like the fact that you can just unlock Rinnegan... That is plain rubbish Kishi. Now we are going to have 201020192 threads about Sasuke developing Rinnegan.

You miss one thing. Madara knew about Nagato, and Madara also knew that Nagato has rinnegan. But if he died in battle with Hashirama, there is no way he can knew about Nagato.

Unless tobi's real name is also Nagato lol

sorry bro but you're wrong. the 1st hokage is a decendant of the so6p youngest son that inherited his fighting spirit and his body. there is no way that having the 1st hokages cells can help you achieve the rinnegan. madara got the rinnegan from switching ms with izuna and achieving the ems then unlocking the rinnegan which madara is a direct decendant of the so6p oldest son that inherited the so6p eyes and chakra. the only reason the sage had the sharinnegan was because he sealed the 10 tailed beast inside him becoming its host. the 1st tailed beast host. the sage originally had the rinnegan.

Dude you get 100 points from me... I swear I be feeling like the only one who has got common sense on here... Thank You for explaining this to fellow...

Anyone who has awakened the mangekyo sharigan can use both amaterasu and susano'o but sasuke is said to have awakened an eternal mangekyo so what happens with that too fill me in.

Why is everyone so suprised that the Chosen one's in the Sage's legacy are gaining the abilities the sons had?

The eldest gained the sage's eyes/visual prowess

While the younger got the Sages Physical energy

Sure Kishi has shown this in a much more robust manor with Naruto because of the whole fox thing. But Naruto had an affinity for *Sage Mode* I don't think just anyone gets chosen to learn it or even can. I feel Kishi has devoloped Naruto's legacy and bloodline poorly, but he might have purposely kept it out since he was thought an orphan of a nobody for the longest time anyway.

I really wish this manga was meant for adults. Kishi could spend so much more time exploring the blood lines improving on Konoha's history and actually taking the time to develop stronger character bonds (which bonds is basically the theme of this manga)
I just hate watching all of these momentous occassion flowing by with little to no understanding.

Now my thoughts. Chapter was excellent, I didn't expect less from Madara. When that chapter ended all I could hear was Sepiroth's theme song in the back of my head. I said my bit about the Rinnegan, But good god His Susano can use Seals. I personally think Madara is Summoning the true Jyuubi's body because it is most definitaly not Chibaku Tensei which pulls objects into it to make it larger. This thing is seriously a meteor. My only qualm with this chapter is Gaara made countering Susano look easy after a second attempt at it.

I just wanna tell you that Tobi is rikudou sennin (Sage of the six paths). When tobi and konan meets he was saying: ''I was the one who gave nagato the rinnegan'' - and he says it was him to the start.

I'm 110% sure that tobi is rikudou sennin. Who others can sooo much abotu sage? And ofc is tobi (rikudou sennin) stronger then madara

Epic Battle.

I'm pretty sure the Masked "Madara" will stop the metheorite when he arrives on the place, maybe he will have a reason to do so.

And this chapter gives me more evidence that the Masked Man is still Madara itself. The Real Madara awakened the Rinnegan before his death.

The Masked Madara claimed that he gave his Rinnegan to Nagato.

They both think about the same thing, and both have the same past so far.

The Madara splitting (With Muu's Technique?) theory might be true afterall.

This sounds like a possible situation; but why would he have been worried when Kabuto showed him the body?

or Izuna

Both I just no longer believe I have anything to back it up because the new chapters seem to just cut half off my theory anyway.
