This chapter made left me amazed. I still wonder how madara got the rinnengan fully. We now know that tobi could of gave it to nagato or else madara did.

Also, madara...gastly business that. It seems that somehow you can transform the sharingan into the rinnegan. Indeed quite interesting...

I'm just really eager to see someone have a nice decent theory because I have nothing whatsoever. I can understand the EMS turning into the Rinnegan as the elder son of the Sage of the Six Paths was Uchiha but it just shocked me to see that, I have to admit I don't know whether I'd dislike it or like it if Sasuke ended up unlocking the Rinnegan. Clearly Nagato was nowhere near the level of Madara as of the use of the Rinnegan.

The only question I have is what about the Byakugan??? It was stated early in the series that the Byakugan was the first off-shoot from the Rinnegan, and the Sharingan was an off-shoot from the Byakugan. So how did the Sharingan super-cede the Byakugan?! Or is it possible for Byakugan users to evolved to the Rinnegan as well???

my thought is that Madara transplanted his rinnegan eyes to Nagato before he died... That makes Nagato a non-kekei genkai to rinegan... And that answers the question on why Nagato is getting skinnier when he uses his rinegan powers... He can't even form a big chibaku tensei just as like the SOT6P created.

Non-kekei genkai? Explain it please

I believe it was a version of chibaku tensei, but much more powerful than Nagato's. This pretty much proves that Tobi gave Nagato the rinnegan because the true rinnegan is another form of sharingan, which would explain why nagato's wasn't that powerful.

I go with 2 theories, one being based on Typhon Uchiha's theory:


Madara's fight with Hashirama probably was to gain his cells. Remember; To activate the Rinnegan, you need Senju/Uzumaki DNA in combination with Uchiha DNA.
I think he got to that point before he died and developed the Rinnegan. He probably knew he wouldn't defeat Hashirama. So he did the same thing with the Rinnegan as the SO6P.

He created one being with his body; Zetsu. Black half is the Uchiha half and the other one the Senju half. And in the other he put his eyes, will, memories etc. resulting Tobi.

But in order to develop the Rinnegans powers to the state that he could control life and death, a Senju or Uzumaki was needed; Nagato.

From what I understood, Madara's Rinnegan was only implanted by Kabuto when he was summoned through Edo Tensei.

What Madara referred to as "he awakened shortly before his death was EMS plus Susa'noo"

This seems to be the same reason why Kabuto said "you have been summoned in a special way, that you have been completed beyond your prime".

Is it just me or what do you guys think?

No. Madara said i awakened these EYES shortly before my death, so it's pretty clear Madara awakened the rinnegan.

Now I'm certain the first hokage was bad ass... Look at all the detail we are getting from Madara an he still manage to defeat him.. Although I do think he got seriously injure also but also remember mito uzumaki was there also.. And something tells mes shodai use a strong sealing jutsu right before he defeated him.. Kishi you need to give us a first homage chronicle as soon as possible unless your planning to show us the battle later on I the manga when sasuke and naruto go at it..

Prediction for future manga not the next one
1) sasuke gets rinnenga to match up to naruto when he combines all his power together
2) naruto is finally going to use "that" jutsu I hope is a killer one or else it's been 400+ chapt and nothing about it not even a clue
3) the battle between Madara vs harishama ( we all know how that end)
4 the truth behind zetsu
5) the return of the ten tail beast
Lol I pointed out the obvious but I need more info on a lot of things

I'll make a prediction later on

Wow.... Madara is really really strong, though, i didnt like the fact that you can just unlock Rinnegan... That is plain rubbish Kishi. Now we are going to have 201020192 threads about Sasuke developing Rinnegan.

Kabuto didn't transplant the rinnegan into Madara. Madara awakened those eyes himself. He states it himself. You guys need to re read the chapter.

I think he meant that it was not nagato's kekei genkai. Like how kakashi uses sharingan even though he does not have that kekei genkai.

Now about this chapter. That was the best chapter in a long time. What was falling from the sky? cause it looked massive enough to destroy the entire battle field easily.

Also seeing as this is a prediction thread I shall make a prediction:
narutobase will explode with threads of people pointing out that all that Madarra only has his left eye and tobi only has right proves they are the same person. also another topic to prompt millions of threads by next week will be "Will Sasuke get the Rinnegan?"
